Helpful Expert Reply:

Your measurement of 1-1/16 equals to 1.0625 inches and most likely the bearing is # L44649 and the inner bearing is # L68149.

With that said, I think bearing kit # BK2-100 will work, but I strongly recommend looking at your bearings, races and seal for part numbers or taking a few measurements.

The best way to determine the correct parts for your 3,500 pound boat axle trailer, is to remove the hub from the trailer and either get part numbers from the inner and outer bearings and races, and grease seal or measure the spindle in 3 places and the hub in two places.

I have included a photo showing the places to look for part numbers and places to measure. If the part numbers are not visible on your bearings, races and seal a dial or digital caliper will be needed to get accurate measurements. Using a tape measure or ruler will not be accurate enough.

I am including links to a FAQ page and a video that will help you when replacing the bearings, races, and seals on your trailer.

If you wish to provide your existing bearing, race and seal part numbers, I can double-check to ensure you are getting the correct bearing kit.
