Recommended Trailer Hitch For 2015 Ford Mustang GT
Question:
When will a trailer hitch be available for the 2015 Ford Mustang GT?

Expert Reply:
The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2015 Mustang GT is the Draw-Tite trailer hitch, part # 24928.
This is a Class l hitch and it has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening.
If you plan on doing some light towing I recommend a ball mount like part # 3594. For a hitch ball I recommend part # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball and part # 19258 for the 2 inch hitch ball.
For trailer wiring I recommend part # 118487. This is a plug-in installation at the connection points which are located behind the tail lights in the rear cargo area of your vehicle. You will the need to run the black power wire to the positive battery post under the hood using the included in-line fuse.
If you are interested in using the hitch for carrying a bike rack, you can check out the attached link to the Class l bike carrier we offer.
I have also attached a link to the cargo carriers we offer that will work with a Class l hitch.
If you have any questions about a specific item, just let me know by return email and I will be glad to make some recommendations that will work for you.
