Winch Quick Disconnect Kit Recommendations For The Front And Back Of 2013 Ford F-350
Question:
Hi, I want to install aux power wiring including quick diconnectors at my front and rear trailer hitches. My planned use is for a receiver mounted winch up to 16,500 lbs. I am also looking for an adapter that will allow me to use the quick disconnect power to support a small round 2 pin connector on a marine winch attached to a boat trailer. Does such a kit/product exist? My truck is a 2013 Ford F350 4x4 diesel, crew cab with the shorter 6.8' bed. It has the factory tow package and I installed your front hitch last year. Thanks,

I recommend Bulldog Winch Wiring Kit # BDW20206 for the rear and # BDW20205 for the front. The rear kit includes 20 ft of wire and the front kit includes 7-1/2 ft of wire. Both feature thick 2 gauge wire, recommended for higher capacity recovery winches, and include the quick disconnect terminals for each end.
If you do not have a winch I recommend the Bulldog Winch Heavy-Duty Series Off-Road Winch, part # BDW10012. This heavy-duty winch has a rated line pull capacity of 15,000 lbs and a vehicle recovery capacity of 10,000 lbs.
I also recommend using a heavy duty pulley block like part # BDW20027. Using a pulley block will increase the capacity of your winch.
I have attached a helpful article as well as installation videos you can check out.
