Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2015 Volkswagen Golf

On the market for new car. The TDI first choice. But I like sporty look with ability to tow. Will this hitch work with the optional center exhaust? thanks....

The EcoHitch hitch part # 306-X7309 that you referenced will fit either a TDI or the gas models so it would be the one to use as long as you don't get the R model with the center exhaust.

With that being said, I recommend the ball mount # C45016 as it fits 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receivers. For a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball, go with # 19256. For a 2-inch hitch ball # 19258 will work fine.

For trailer wiring you would want the part # 119250KIT.
