Tire Recommendation to Replace a 7.00-15 LT Tire
Question:
Dear sir, I have a Utility vehicle That comes from factory with 7.00 X 15 LT commercial tyres. As the vehicle is for private use and is occupied by only 1 or 2 people with minimal luggage, the Factory tyres provide a very harsh and bumpy ride. I was looking to replace the same with P-Type AT tyres. Please suggest will a 215/75/R15 will fit the above 15 inch rims? If not, what size will fit? The 7.00 tyres are very tall and 215s dont look so tall. Please suggest. Thanks.

P style tires are designed for passenger vehicles so if this utility vehicle you are referencing is a trailer I cannot recommend them for you. For a very similar size to the 215/75/R15 that you referenced that is an ST tire (specialty trailer), and is a radial I would recommend the # AM10303. This is a ST225/75R15 sized tire.
Typically a radial tire has more flex in it's sidewall than a bias ply.
I attached an FAQ on trailer tires for you to check out as well.
