Self Adjusting Trailer Brake Assembly Recommendations for a Snowmobile Trailer
Question:
Looking at replacing the OEM manual adjust brakes with these self-adjust brakes, My question is on the longevity of the self adjust system in winter / salty road enviroments.

The self adjusting brakes like the part # AKEBRK-35L-SA that you referenced will hold up to salty roads just as well as the non-adjusting brake assemblies. Realistically there isn't a downside to going with self adjusting brakes so I would highly recommend you convert your trailer. For the matching right hand side assembly to match the # AKEBRK-35L-SA you would want the part # AKEBRK-35R-SA. I attached an install video for you to check out for these assemblies as well.
