Since you are looking at travel trailers upwards of around 7,000 pounds I recommend a hitch that has a 10,000 pound capacity. But you will also want to check the truck owners manual to determine the towing capacity of your specific 2015 Ram 1500. Whichever is lower, the hitch or the truck, is the capacity you need to go by.
The most popular hitch with 10,000 pound capacity that fits your truck is Curt hitch # 14374. I have linked a video showing how the hitch installs.
I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK2416. It comes with a ball mount with a 3 inch rise or 4 inch drop, 2 balls, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
