Part # 118253 is only to be used with Pilots that have the OEM Tow Package. If you do not know if your Pilot has the OEM tow package, you can contact your dealer or Honda with your VIN and they should be able to tell you. If you does, you would then use adapter part # A75TB to come down to a 5-Way.
If you do not have the tow package, you could use part # 118491 and then add a 4-Pole to 5-Pole adapter like part # 20036. You would run the loose blue wire to the tail light circuit on your Pilot to provide the reverse lockout needed to keep the trailer brakes released when backing up.
