Will the Thule Force XL Cargo Box part # TH625 Clear Rear Hatch of Jeep Compass 2012
Question:
Will the Thule force xl 625 interfere with the opening of the rear hatch. I have not found a video on your site with a compass. This box is 84 inches and a larger box at 90in does interfere so I am wondering if the 6inches is sufficient for clearance.

Here's how you will figure out if the Thule Force XL Cargo Box part # TH6358B will interfere with the rear hatch of your 2012 Jeep Compass.
You will need to slide your front crossbar as far forward as possible (it it's adjustable), and then you will need to measure from the center of the bar to the seam of the rear hatch. If that measurement you took is more than 53-5/8 inches then the rear hatch will open without interference.
If you need a box with less clearance required check out the chart I attached that shows all of the Thule boxes and their front clearances in the far right column.
