The Curt Class I trailer hitch you referenced, part # C11222, is a correct fit for your 2014 Camaro Convertible without the ground effects package. The recommended ball mount for use with this light-duty hitch is part # C45520 from Curt, and this ball mount has a rise of 3-1/8-inches. It can only be used in the rise position.
With this ball mount you can use either 1-7/8-inch ball # C40001 or 2-inch ball # C40018. Your trailer coupler will be labeled or stamped with the size ball that it fits.
Towing a trailer that has lights also requires a wiring harness. We offer Curt harness # C56197 for your Camaro that installs easily with plug-in connectors - no cutting or splicing of wires is required.
The installation instructions are linked for you.
You will want to take a look at your Camaro owner's manual before you tow to ensure that Chevrolet rates the vehicle adequately for the weight of the trailer you intend to tow. You might also care to check out the linked article on towing basics.
