Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2011 Kia Sorento EX
Question:
Which hitch is best. See some fit between the frame and are side bolt. Like the looks of the ones that fit both on the side and bottom of frame. Need to order one in and I should have no problem installing. Did not see a wiring harness under the vehicle. Where would I need to hook up if I were to install wiring?

For your 2011 Kia Sorento there are Class II and Class III trailer hitches available. I recommend Class III because they have a 2 inch receiver which will afford you more accessory options and they are more stout and have higher capacities.
The Class III trailer hitch I recommend is # 75684. It s rated for 350 pounds tongue weight, 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight. It is also rated for use with weight distribution. I have linked a video showing installation of this hitch for you.
If you plan on doing some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
For trailer wiring, if your EX model did NOT come with the factory tow package then you would need # 118506. If it does have the factory tow package use # HM11143965. I have linked installation videos for each. If you are unsure if you have the factory tow package, have a Kia dealer run the VIN number to see how it is equipped.
