Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch for a 2014 Ram 2500 Short Bed with Hitch Prep

Will the Reese elite fifth wheel hitch work with my 2014 ram 2500 pucks that came with the factory

I have a solution for you, but since you have a short bed truck the trailer you plan towing will have to either have a Sidewinder or Reese Revolution pin box so that you have clearance to make tight turns.
For an M5 style Reese Hitch confirmed to fit the hitch prep you have in your 2014 Ram 2500 you would want the part # RP30918. If you want to go this route but don't have a Sidewinder or Revolution you will need to replace the pin box of your trailer with one.
Sidewinders are pin box specific so you will first need to know what pin box you have know in order to pick out the correct one.
There should be a sticker or a stamping on the OEM pin box of the trailer that will list the pin box number that is on the trailer.
Once you figure out which pin box you have you can check the FAQ I attached that has a chart that shows the correct Sidewinder to get based on which pin box you have.
The other option is to use the adapter plate part # RP30154 so that you can use any slider hitch designed to fit industry standard rails like the part # C16541 which would be a great choice.
