Recommended Trailer Hitch and Towing Accessories for 2014 Nissasn Murano
Question:
I'm confused by the hitch choices for my 2014 Nissan Murano. Which is best?

All the available hitches for your 2014 Murano would share identical weight capacities (which could be limited by the capacities of the vehicle) of 4000 lbs towing/400 lbs tongue weight capacity.
I'd choose the Curt Class III, part # 13577 because it's simpler to install and less expensive than the comparable Hidden Hitch or Draw-Tite alternatives. Also, the Curt hitch crosstube is constructed of round tubing, which some folks feel looks better than the rectangular tubing used by the Hidden Hitch and Draw-Tite.
If you'll be towing with your Murano, you'll also need the following to complete your towing system:
Trailer wiring harness w/ 4-pole trailer connector, part # 55571 (the # C56033 you referred to is for the Rogue, and wouldn't fit your Murano)
Ball mount, part # C45010
1-7/8 inch trailer ball, part # 19260
2 inch trailer ball, part # 63845
Locking hitch pin, part # e98882
I've linked you to some install videos you might find helpful.
