Trailer Wiring Recommend for 2009 Saturn Vue and How to Wire Up Separate Trailer Wiring on Trailer
Question:
What plug and configuration do I use to wire a 09 Saturn vue with separate signal lights to a trailer that Im going to to put separate signal lights on ?

Expert Reply:
You will want to install a 4-way on your 2009 Saturn Vue. For that you would want the Curt Wiring Harness part # C56026.
Now for the trailer wiring you will need to use a converter like part # 118158.
Going this route will ensure that if you were ever to need to tow a different trailer with your tow vehicle, or have someone elses vehicle tow your trailer everything would be compatible.
