Can 5th Wheel Rails/Brackets from 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab Fit 2015 Ram 3500 Dually

I had a 2007 ram 2500 mega cab I have the husky 26000 lbs hitch for my fifth wheel and I wanted to know if all the brackets from the 2007 will work on my 2015 ram 3500 long bed dually or if I have to buy new rails and brackets

The Husky 5th wheel installation kits that fit your 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab are parts # HT31413-686 for the no-drill kit and # HT31565-686 for the kit that requires drilling. Neither of these kits is transferrable to your new 2015 Ram 3500 long bed dually.

For your new 2015 Ram 3500 dually long bed we offer one installation kit option that is compatible with the dual-rear-wheel configuration and this is part # BWGNRK1314-5W from B & W. This install kit will not work with your industry-standard Husky hitch; it will work only with the B & W Companion 5th wheel trailer hitches, models # BWRVK3500 or # BWRVK3400. The advantage of the B & W system is that its install kit also serves as a gooseneck hitch, giving you the ability to tow both types of trailers.

There is another install kit from Curt that accepts standard hitches like your Husky, part # C16430-204.
