Can Firestone Air Bag Helper Springs Be Installed on 2014 Ford F-150 with 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch
Question:
I have a 2014 F150 Ecoboost Crew Cab, with a Reese 16 K hitch, is there a mounting plate that will allow me to install Ride Rite airbags?

The issue is that a lot of the 5th wheel installation brackets that attach to the frame of your 2014 Ford F-150 install on the outsides of the frame in the same location needed by the Firestone brackets so they would not fit. But if you are using a universal kit such as # RP30035 that has 4 L-brackets then you could use a Firestone kit, # F2525.
But to ensure there will be no interference I recommend going with a Timbren kit, # TFR1502D, for a 2-wheel drive truck or # TFR1504D for a 4-wheel drive model. These kits will not interfere with the 5th wheel brackets. And they are better suited for supporting the 5th wheel hitch when coupled. I have linked a help article on Timbren systems for you.
