Tekonsha Voyager brake controller # 39510 would be a good choice for your 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe. Your vehicle is wired with a plug for a brake controller, so you would also need brake control wiring adapter # 3025-S to make the installation as easy as possible.
The 4 wires from the wiring adapter would simply be connected, using butt connectors, to the 4 matching wires coming out the back side of the Voyager brake controller.
If your Tahoe did not come with a 7-way plug from the factory, you will also need wiring harness # 30955 to equip your vehicle for towing with electric brakes.
