Hello friends, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at these WeatherTech Side Window rain guards with the dark tinting for the front and the rear. So you're getting a total of four pieces of this kit. Now, with anything at etrailer.com, please go to our fit guide at the center top of our homepage at etrailer.com. Put in your year, make, and model and that'll tell you exactly what you need for your particular ride. Now this particular kit here is gonna fit a 2015 to 2020 Ford F-150 Super Crew Cab, a 2017 to 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor Super Crew Cab.
It's also gonna fit the 2017 to 2023, F-250, 350, and 450, Super Duty Crew Cabs. Now why do you need these Well, like it says, they are a window rain guard. Some people like to roll their window down a little bit with these installed, to help let heat escape on a hot, sunny day, stuff like that. So your longer ones here with this particular shape and curve, those are gonna be for the front of the vehicle, the front doors and the other ones that are shorter and straight are typically gonna go on the rear of your vehicle. Now zooming in, you're gonna get all these clips you see before you and this nice little tool to help install these.
So very simple installation. Basically your two clips over here, those are gonna be for the front doors and these four clips over here are gonna be for the rear doors. Now some of these different models you get, may or may not have, you know, like a double-sided adhesive. WeatherTechs generally do not. And that's what we're looking at here today.
So you don't have to worry about none of that. They really simply installed fairly easily. They're gonna come with instead of instructions, colorful instructions, and you should have no problem whatsoever, putting these on your vehicle. Now they are low profile. They are, they give you that original OEM look.
They are durable with a 3M stick, 3M thick acrylic construction. And like I said, they're gonna fit the front and rear driver's side and passenger side windows. They come with a very nice three year warranty. I've had these on every car that I've owned within the last 10 to 15 years, and I absolutely love 'em. Like I was saying, I use 'em on hot days to let the heat escape, but even when it's raining, you want to get a little ventilation from the outside, you can crack that window a little bit and let that nice fresh air come in. They seem okay, but the directions were terrible.
In 1 year I've had to add air 1 time and have loaded and hauled heavy everyday. I'll put these on my next truck too.
fitment on these is also poor for the rear windows. They will not go up without bumping them into place
This is my 3rd set of Weather tech side rain guards. I continue to have the driver's side stick most times. I know it is installed correctly to. It seems like the one edge is twisted some, and binding on the window. Not to happy this time with the quality.
Fast service as always and they fit great. A year later one of the rear rainguards installation clips has lost tension and the rain guard is slipping out of place.

the right front passenger rain guards catches on the window when trying to close and always reverses the window making it very difficult to close. i have to hold the guard away from the window for it to close. is that guard defective. all others are great!

Sadly the driver’s side had an issue with not allowing the window to close. Multiple adjustments. Finally broke and tossed it. Other three OK
They work well. They look great. I'm only giving them 4 stars because one of them cracked while installing them. The piece that cracked is hidden and does not appear to affect the performance of the rain guard.
I was not a fan of these visors. The way they install and fit was not ideal. I was just always worried that they would fall out. My window would constantly hit the visor and open back up.

As all WeatherTech products works/fits great. If your going to do any window tinting, leave these off until the tint has cured.
Not as well made as previous versions of weather tech. Very poor instructions. I had higher expectations based on my use of this brand previously. I don't believe it well hold up very well.
The instructions were not easy to understand but maybe it was just me. Once I started it was pretty simple they came out great.
Good quality as with all Weathertech products. Installed easily.
Fits well-instructions were decent, need to have a temperature recommendation (don’t install below a certain temp-maybe 50?) as they’re a bit tough to flex during install when they’re cold.

You mentioned that the air deflectors did not fit and fell off the vehicle. I wanted to ask you a few questions. Can you tell me which ones fell off. How long were they on the vehicle before they fell off?

One our escape they kept coming loose and fell off after about a year. The ones for our 2020 F150 the front deflectors have to be pushed outward because window hits them on way up. It’s very annoying and makes a terrible sound

Overall..very good product. They could send a few extra screws (in case you drop one...or two.....into the engine area....never to be seen again)
