Cool-colored light, especially that with a high color temperature, promotes driver alertness, as opposed to warm-colored light, which promotes relaxation. Color temperature is based on chromaticity, which refers to the quality of a color rather than its luminance. Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at these Vision X headlight bulbs. These are gonna come in a kit of two and be the H11 connector type. Now this is gonna have a variety of different fits for different vehicles, so be sure to check yours in our fit guide to make sure you've got the right bulbs and be sure to check your connectors to make sure you're getting the right one. That H11 connector type is gonna be specific to a certain spot on your vehicle and the low beams and the high beams depending on your vehicle, can be different connectors. We'll show you how to check for the right connector type and check out the headlight bulb.
If you're looking for something that's more of a crisp white or a cool white, you can check out something that's more like 6,000 K. This one is gonna be more true to factory and if you aren't replacing your high beams and you want these to match then this could be a good way to go. Regardless of that, the 900 lumen output is going to be a little bit brighter than factory and they are gonna draw 55 watts at 12 volts. If you're not sure if you're getting the right bulbs for your vehicle, you can always check the connector type. The H11 connector type here is gonna be an oval shape with tabs on the side and top, and in the middle of the connector between the two metal pins you can see another plastic tab inside.
There's some that look very similar to this but the one that looks the most similar those metal tabs are spaced further apart and it doesn't have a plastic tab in the middle. If you do have that, then make sure you get the right connector type for that. Otherwise, this is what that H11 will look like. Depending on the bulb you have, you could always check the back and a lot of them will often say the connector type which you can see right here is H11 so that's just another way we can check to make sure we're getting the right one. The install really varies depending on the vehicle.
For our Honda Pilot that we installed these on today, everything's a bit more tight and hard to reach but for the most part it's just finding the back of the headlight housing, reaching in and untwisting the connector, pulling it out, replacing the bulb and put the new one in, lock it in. You can see on the front of the bulb they've got three locking tabs that'll go into the socket and twist into place. So really you just gotta find that and remove it. Pop the new one in and lock it. And that about does it for our look at the Vision X H11 halogen headlight bulbs.
If you're looking for that nice factory appearance these are definitely gonna give you that, with a small boost in performance too. Thanks for watching..

Harness worked great but both bulbs quit within 5 minutes of usage. Some will suggest 42 steps of troubleshooting so I put factory bulbs in and they worked fine.

Just got my harness and bulbs today. I haven't installed it yet as it doesn't come with a fuse or fuse holder. Currently trying to determine what the amp rating of this wire is. So far it feels nice, with decent quality. The connectors on the headlight side seem extremely flimsy. I would recommend using a ton of dielectric silicone, to protect against corrosion, and to add a bit of water proofing. I have tested the harness and lights with a spare battery, so far everything works as intended.

Product is ok I only bought bulbs because they advertised (600k) premium white when I installed then there oem looking yellow lights defenetly didnt fit the description with that being said I wouldn't have bought them if I knew there were going to be the same as oem.
