Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And we're going to be taking a quick look at the cordless grease gun. This is going to be a powered grease gun to allow you to not have to wear out your elbow or your hand, whenever you're trying to grease up some bearings and make sure that everything's lubricated on your trailer. So this is going to be a really nice thing to have around the shop, around the farm, or anywhere else where you're going to be lubricating bearings a lot, and you don't really want to have to take the time and wear out your arm for it.So it comes in a nice case to keep all your stuff together. Something I also like about this is that it comes with a charger and two batteries.
So you'll have one to pop on the charger, anytime you're using the thing, and you use it so much you wear down the one battery, you can put in the new one and keep going. So, everything is contained in here. You can take a closer look at the grease gun itself. So, this is going to be the guy. It does have a 42-inch long flexible hose.
So it should give you plenty of length to get into any kind of spot. Can flex around to fit in any tight spaces to get that in place. It does have a 1/8 inch NTP fitting here. So pretty standard to get on any of your grease zerks to lube that up. It's got the trigger here to start that grease going. You can fill this with 14-ounce canister, that industry standard.
And you can either put the canister in or you can also fill this via suction. It does have a pressure release valve here, so you can prime that to get it ready to go. Also, included in the kit, you get a shoulder strap which would attach here and here, so you're not having to lift this thing by your wrist the whole time, so it saves a little bit of strain and stress in that regard. And then again, you'll have your battery, backup battery. Put back in place.
And then your charger. This has a 7,500 PSI rating, as far as how much grease you can put out or the poundage there. The amount of grease, or the rate of grease, is about 75 grams per minute. So that's how fast it's going to push the grease in the zerk. So even if you have a fairly blocked grease zerk, it should still push that through. Of course, you want to make sure that it's not blocked if you can, but it should be a pretty good amount of pressure to push that through even if it is.I like that everything stays pretty well put in the case. So it's not going to be rattling around on you. And it just makes it really easy to transport. It's not too heavy either. So it shouldn't be too bad to transport around with. Does also come with some instructions, user manual. I know a lot of folks don't end up reading those, but it does come with it. That's pretty much all we have to talk about today with our quick look at the cordless grease gun. I hope that this has been helpful in deciding if this is the right one for you.
