Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're going to take a look at this Edge Pulsar V3 L5P Inline Tuner with the Insight CTS3 monitor. Now, this is a custom fit part that is designed to fit the 2017 to 2019 GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and 3500s with the 6.6 litter V8 diesel engine turbocharged. Now, beginning with this Pulsar, this is an inline computer that's going to connect directly to your vehicle's onboard computer system and it's going to plug directly onto the board. Now, just the overall size of this inline computer to give you an idea of just how big this is, the overall width is about 8 1/2 inches wide, the overall height is 10 inches, and this is about 2 1/4 inches thick. So by connecting directly to your vehicle's computer, this Pulsar has the ability to control your vehicle's signals to optimize performance gains, throttle response, fuel economy, and more.

Now, these features can be controlled from inside of your cab with the vehicle's existing controls or with the addition of an in-cabin monitor or controller such as this included CTS3 monitor. Now, this full color five inch capacity touch screen with auto-dimming is going to give you crystal clear data right at your fingertips with highly customizable gauges and backgrounds. It boots up directly to the gauge screen upon turning on your key and the ignition, and providing full data monitoring, data logging, and the ability to read or clear trouble codes. It features multiple on-the-fly adjustable power levels such as turning off or on your transmission slip protection, it has EGT backdown adjustment, throttle sensitivity adjustment, and then you're gonna have the ability to enable or disable your cold engine backdown, you can enable or disable your shift backdown, and it has a high idle adjustment from 700 to 1,500 RPM. Now, it has an accessory, rather, an expandable accessory system, which is going to allow you to connect multiple accessories daisy chain style right to this device.

It is wifi updateable. And just to go over what this Pulsar includes, it does include the hardware to successfully install this and instructions to walk you through the installation and set up process. And then this Insight monitor is going to include a windshield mount that's going to be able to connect right to the back here very easily, and then you can just adjust this whatever is going to be the best way for you to view this. And then it comes with the OBD-II and HDMI cable. So of course, you're gonna plug this HDMI port, adapter rather, directly to your monitor, then this is going to go into your OBD port.

And then a USB cable, alcohol wipe to clean the surface that you'll be sticking your mount to, whether it's the windshield or your dashboard, gonna get some cable ties if you need to tighten up any slack in your cables, and then a great set of instructions to, again, walk you through the set up process and all of the features and functions that this monitor has to offer.
