Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this machete. This is gonna be a very important tool to have on hand if you're gonna be in dense vegetation where you're gonna have to cut your way through, or if you're needing to make kindling and that sort of thing, is gonna be a very important tool to have on hand. This does have an 18 inch long spring steel blade. So it is gonna be very durable and will do a good job of cutting through most kinds of vegetation, small branches, that sort of thing. You also have a plastic handle here that's going to provide a nice grip.
Does have a little bit of a hook here on the bottom. Zoom in a little bit, so you can see that better. So that's going to give your pinky a place to rest to make sure that you're not gonna lose grip as you're swinging, as you really get into it, and you're still gonna be able to hold on nice and tight there. Our overall length with the blade and the handle is right about 22 1/2 inches long. It does come with this nylon sheath for securing it, storing it.
This sheath does have a belt loop to it and a hook and loop strip. So a couple different ways to wear it on your person so that you can easily access it and then put it away when you're done. So really a nice tool. I've never personally used a machete, I've typically gone more the hatchet route, but it does definitely seem like something that you'd wanna have if you are gonna be trailblazing and that sort of thing.
