Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with each etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Curt 7-way opening cover plate. This cover plate is going to allow you to use your Curt 7-way socket with your Chevrolet or GMC truck. This will fit right into that factory punch out on your GMC or Chevrolet truck that is designed for the factory 7-way, and will allow you to use your aftermarket Curt and cover up any gaps that may be there, so that you get a nice clean look on your truck bed.It does accept any Curt 7-way socket. It is a plastic construction, so it'll hold up well.
You won't have to worry about rust or corrosion or anything like that. It's very easy to get installed. It just snaps into place. And then you do have the slotted holes here for the adjustable 7-way socket installation. This is compatible with your plastic bed liners, and it does come with hardware to get it installed.
So after you get your 7-way snapped on, you can get it mounted in your truck bed.This does come with a limited lifetime warranty. So if you we're to have any problems with it, you could give us a call and we'd be happy to help you out with that. But I really don't think you're going to have any problems. I think this is just going to dress up your installation, make it look really nice. So no one sees it and thinks that it was done by hand or looked like it came right from the factory with it installed.
