Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this "ARC Concept LED Pod Auxiliary High Beam Light Kit". These street legal LED auxiliary high beams are going to deliver 3000 lumens of focus light for improved visibility and safety. Now, as you can see, I have these lights connected to power and turned on. Even with my studio lights on you can see just how bright they are.

These high quality, the high quality light output comes from four five-watt Osram Olson LEDs in each light giving you a total light output of 3000 lumens with 1500 lumens per light. Now let me go ahead and turn my studio lights off and go to my wide view here, and just shine one of these on the wall behind me. These lights produce a 30-degree narrow beam that is going to extend distance visibility which is created by total internal reflection, or TIR projector lenses. And these street legal pods are SAE J581 certified for use on all roadways. However, I do wanna recommend that you still review your state's guidelines regarding the use of auxiliary lighting on roadways.

So again, these are gonna be very bright. I think they're gonna do a great job of helping you see at a distance. And let me go ahead and turn my studio lights back on and go for a close up here again. Talk about the housing of these lights. These lights feature a black powder coded aluminum housing that is going to be corrosion resistant.

These are IP67-rated to protect against dust and moisture. And the included universal single bolt U-bracket, that I already have installed on these lights, they're gonna provide a sturdy mounting base and they're going to let you adjust the angle of each light, to position this light at the angle that you need. So as you can see, they are adjustable and I also have a powder coat on there to not only help it look good, but also to protect the brackets as well. Now, let me go ahead and unplug these lights and talk a little bit about the wiring harness that's included. This wiring harness with the rocker switch is going to make installing your light pods and light bars easier.

The harness supports lights up to 90-watts each and 180-watts maximum. And it includes two triple-sealed Deutsch connectors. As you can see right here. And these are gonna plug very easily right into the cable of the light. As you saw, I easily unplugged it, but when you plug it in, there's gonna be a click, and those plugs are gonna be secure. And then there's just a little release lever there that you push in. And then you're gonna be able to pull that Deutsch connector out. So two triple-sealed Deutsch DT connectors, a rocker switch that you probably saw when I had these lights on and my studio lights off, this switch does light up when you activate your lights. And then also an HID relay is part of this wiring harness along with the lead wire that with a fuse and ring terminals. So the red will be your power and the black will be your ground. Now let me pull out my ruler here real quick and just give you some overall measurements that it hopefully will help you determine if this is gonna work for your application. The overall height, we're sitting right at three inches tall. Of course that width is gonna be the same at three inches wide. And then the overall depth, we're sitting right at about two and five eighths inches. Of course, these measurements do not include the brackets. If you are needing additional measurements that I didn't provide for you I would recommend taking a look at this product page. And we do have in the photo section more measurements along with a diagram to help you determine if this will work for your application. So this kit includes everything that you see here on my table before me. You're gonna get two cube LED pods, and then the two new bracket mounts. Again, I already have these installed on the lights, this wiring harness, and then the mounting hardware that you are going to need along with an instruction sheet. And just some additional information that might prove helpful for you. The wattage, these are gonna be 20 Watts at 13.6 volts DC which would be five watts per LED. And the current is 1.5 amps at 13.6 volts, DC. The voltage is 10 to 36 volts DC. And the power draw is 1.5 amps per light. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today.
