This was my first time ordering with etrailer and I can’t believe how fast I received the products (2days!!) and with free shipping as well . The products are top quality and as described online . The only thing I would add is that I ordered a trailer pintle hitch and a drop mount , and neither one had the bolts to mount the two together nor did I see it offered for sale as a “kit” to be purchased . That would be a nice compliment to add to the package .1670845

Developed quite a bit of surface rust not long after installation on surfaces not in contact with trailering. Safety pin does not pass through hitch in open position like all my other pintle hitches. If connected to ball hitch, the pin hangs from chain until it falls off.1606397

the pintle hitch is well built, got it in only a few days, i will be pulling a ten ton 25 foot 8 wheel trailer with a bobcat and other equipment.
so i need heavy duty stuff. everyone make sure you buy grade 8 bolts and assemble your hitch. there are only 4 bolts that holds all that weight behind your rig. very satisfied with the product.1529787

Solid construction, perfect for pulling my 10,000# utility trailer while also allowing me to occasionally move trailers that have a lunette / pintle eye when needed. This eliminates the inconvenience of me having to carry two different hitches in my truck.

I also purchased a 2" ball for this hitch from etrailer so that I have the option of switching when needed; the 1-1/8" shank trailer balls for the RM6 series hitches are difficult to locate anywhere besides online.1145461
