84 x 18 Heavy-duty plow with thick rubber cutting edge self-adjusts up and down to smoothly clear a path over concrete, gravel, and grass. Side scoops catch more snow with each push. Aluminum blade can be manually angled to either side.
Features:
Specs:
Installation is quick and simple - just slide included shank assembly into your 2" receiver and secure with pin.
Then lift the blade, one end at a time, onto the frame's holders and fasten with snap pins.
The SnowSport HD blade is mounted on an angled, 3-position shank assembly, allowing you to plow to the left, to the right or straight ahead.
To plow, lower the blade and begin driving; no wiring or hydraulics are needed. The unique push frame on the shank assembly allows the blade to move along the grade of the terrain for easier, more efficient plowing. The heavy-duty rubber cutting edge is effective yet turf friendly, collecting snow and squeegeeing slush without digging into the ground.
When you reverse direction, the blade lies back, skimming over the surface of the ground so that you can easily take another pass.
Once you're finished plowing, just lift the blade and refasten into the travel position. The blade is secure enough to travel at highway speeds, and the low-profile design keeps it from blocking your vehicle's headlights. Removal for storage is quick and easy. The plow can be used on the rear of your vehicle, making it a cinch to back out of your snow-packed driveway.

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Curt front mounted hitch on a 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500. Now, this is what our hitch is gonna look like when it's actually installed. And you can see it's rather recessed here. But the main thing that we have is our receiver opening. And it's gonna be a two inch by two inch. Now this is gonna be great for a number of different things.
A lot of times in the Midwest here, we see snow plows attached to these but also you can mount a ball mount to here. If you need to move some trailers around the lot or even a bike rack or a cargo carrier can be mounted up front as well. Now, as far as trades go, a lot of times people will actually put a load extender up front as well and, that way, if you have conduit or long lumber or ladders even, you can support that on the front of the vehicle. And when you are ready to put your accessories in the front, you're gonna see there's gonna be a 5/8 hitch pin hole. Now it does not come with the pin and clip, but a lot of times your accessories will actually come with it.
And you can actually pick up a locking one, here available at etrailer. We have a bunch of different varieties. And that way, when you have your accessories loaded up that you can actually know that they're gonna be locked in place, and they're not gonna walk away in the hands of someone else. Now, as far as capacities go, this is rated for a decent amount of weight. In fact, you have a gross trailer weight rating of 5,000 pounds.
So, that's gonna be the weight of the trailer plus the accessories loaded up onto it. Now, as far as the tongue weight goes, the downward pressure here is gonna be 500 pounds. So, that's gonna be able to support those snow plows or anything up front that's gonna be heavy or cargo carriers. It also has a straight line pull of 9,000 pounds. So, overall, some pretty good numbers for the accessories you'll be loading up.
Now that straight line pull is gonna be if you have a winch mounted up here or if you wanna yank some trees out or whatever it may be. You're gonna have a decent amount of weight to work with and really put the truck to use. Just taking a few quick measurements. We're gonna measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthest point of the front bumper. We're looking about 5 1/2 inches. And that's important just to note when you do buy your accessories, making sure that they are gonna actually clear that front bumper. Now, something else we're gonna check is the ground clearance here. And it is rather low. So, from the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground you're looking at about 10 inches. So, that is something to think about. Not only when you have your accessories loaded up but if you are doing some off-road driving or maybe just rougher terrain this is gonna be hanging down a decent amount. So, just look out for any road clearances. So, if there's a road tire or something, you might not be able to pass over it anymore. But, again, this is pretty strong, it's mounted to the frame, so, don't worry too much. Now, if you are worried about that ground clearance there's other options available. In fact, the Eco front hitch is pretty nice in the fact that it mounts right here and it actually comes with a plate relocater, that way it looks factory and then when you need to use it, that plate can come out. It's also gonna gain you that ground clearance, so, you have a little bit more peace of mind. Now, as far as the installation goes this is actually really easy. You're just gonna be using an existing bolt that goes to the tow hooks. And then you're just gonna use a pull wire to get another bolt put in the frame rail. So, this can be done in your driveway or garage in probably about 20 to 30 minutes, assuming you have all the right tools. So, I'm gonna walk you through all those steps to make sure that you get your front hitch installed. Let's take a look at that now. Now, this installation is pretty straightforward and we're gonna be doing this on a lift, just to make it easier for you. But, honestly, this is something you can absolutely do in your driveway or in the garage. And really just to get this started, we are gonna have two bolts that we're gonna need to actually take out. We're gonna find our 18 millimeter bolt here. That's so you can just find your front tow hook and that's where it's actually gonna be mounted. And I'm just gonna be using my ratchet to get to it here. Then we'll go ahead and get this removed. Now, you're gonna want to grab your fish wire here, as well as a spacer block and your carriage bolt. And what we're gonna be doing is on this outside of the frame rail, you can see where the sway bar is, we're gonna feed our bolt in here, eventually, and that's where that front hitch is gonna actually mount up. But in order to get it there, we're gonna be taking the coiled end of our pull wire. And I'm gonna just feed it up to this square hole. Now this bolt is here, so you may have to feed it around but get your finger in here and grab that coiled section. Sometimes bending the fish wire also will help get it in a nicer angle to feed it. So, I'm gonna throw a little bend in it here and that's gonna make it a little bit easier to put it right here at this access hole. And then once you get that coil end in, what you're gonna do is just take your spacer block and you can go ahead and just feed that in. And then this coiled end, you're just gonna take your carriage bolt here and thread that on all the way. And then we can put our carriage bolt here in the frame as well. And I'm gonna just jostle this around just to make sure we have it in place. But when we actually put the hitch up, you're gonna want this pushed in. That way we can raise the hitch in place, but keep your pull wire on here and that's gonna make it a lot easier for the installation. You're gonna go ahead and repeat the same process on the other side of the vehicle. Like getting our bolt and pulling our fish wire through. Now, with an extra set of hands, or if you are working by yourself, you can use a floor jack to raise this up in place. But have your bolt that you removed handy 'cause what we're gonna do is we're gonna take our pull wire, feed it through here, as we raise this up, we'll just get this in place and just get a few threads started by hand. So, we'll pull our fish wire through here. And then as we raise this in place, the bolt that we removed is going to simply bolt it back up. So, just slide this up. And then you can take your bolt and just get it hand started on that weld nut there. Just a little tight here, so you may have to find a good angle. But, again, once we get this started, that's gonna hold it up in place for us. Now, if you're struggling to hand feed that in, you can also align the side hole here and then take your pull wire. And when you pull that bolt through, that's gonna create a nice stud that it can rest on as well. So, with that bolt pulled through that's gonna have that weight of the hitch holding it in place. I'm gonna go ahead and take my fish wire off and just take the nut that is included in the kit and I'm just gonna hand tighten this on here. That way we have all of our hardware in place. And then just make sure this doesn't push into the frame. Otherwise you're gonna have to re-pull it through with the fish wire. But generally this hitch is gonna put enough pressure to keep that in place. So, I'll go ahead and take our nut here. And I'm just gonna get this hand tightened on here and I'm gonna do the same on the other side. And that way we have all of our hardware in place. I'm just gonna tighten these down before taking our torque wrench to it. So, again, it's gonna be the 18 millimeter for that bolt that we originally took off from the tow hook. And then our nut that we got in the hardware kit is gonna be a 3/4. So, we'll go ahead and get those snug, but we don't really need to crank 'em down too terribly hard because like I said, we're gonna go back with the torque wrench to make sure they're at the proper torque setting. So, now we're just gonna go back and torque down our hardware. Now, there are gonna be two different torque settings that you're gonna find in the instruction manual. So, just make sure that you're accounting for that. And if you need a torque wrench, we actually have 'em available here at etrailer or you can generally rent them at an auto parts store but this is gonna be an important step. It's gonna make sure that they are tight enough to not become loose over time but also not too tight, putting stress on the threads. Now, we'll do the same on our new hardware here and, again, different torque setting. And this is gonna be a 3/4 inch socket. Now, with all of our hardware in, tightened, and torqued to spec, we're ready to start using our front hitch. And that was a look and installation of the Curt front mounted hitch on a 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500..

Perfect for winches, spare tire carriers and more. The hitch was well-made, and installing it was very easy. However, the design of the hitch is somewhat perplexing. The hitch receiver hangs about 3 inches lower than it needs to, which reduces the ground clearance on the front of the truck significantly. See attached photos. The hitch will work until I find something better, That restores the front ground clearance
Well so far so good. It was a little difficult trying to do it by myself, got most of it done and then had to go to a autobody shop down the road to tighten up the 4 bolts.

It worked out great! We traveled to Key West from New England with only a couple of problems. Watch out for dips in the road, curbstones, large tree roots.
Have not opened the box yet, but am hoping for a perfect fit. Excellent communication on my order and delivery status…5-Star rating on customer service

Awesome! Works great and I just used the front hitch to put a boat away in very tight quarters.
The hitch is mounted on our 2018 GMC 2500hd. We use it to transport our bikes. We choose not to mount items on our tv rear bumper.
This front hitch carrier has been a life saver for us. I reviewed all the bike mounting options I could find for our truck camper and decided that mounting the bikes on a front receiver hitch was the way to go. The customer service at the front end was excellent. I needed to be sure that the position of the hitch receiver would allow a) enough ground clearance, b) that the bikes would not be touching the front grill of the truck, c) that the bikes would not be sitting up so high that the view of the driver would be obstructed and d) that I would actually be able to do the install myself. Well, the customer service gal on the phone was very helpful and took a lot of time to research and answer all my questions and I felt confident that I was getting the right item. I was able to install the receiver in less than 2 hours with the help of my neighbor. The instructions were clear and the install went fairly smoothly. The end result is an excellent product that is very strong and durable and holds our bike rack perfectly. We have logged over 5000 miles since installing it last spring and I could not be happier with how things have worked out!
Had the front hitch in use for about a year. No issues...supports a front "cooler" rack that I modified and added a bike roack to the front of that...it performs the way it should....easy install...great produt...happy all around
Hitch fit perfect on my truck and the video was on point for installation. I had the hitch installed in 45 minutes and it looks great.

Product works as described, I use it for my winch and use with my fishing rack on the beach.
High quality hitch. Great install instructions. Not hard to install but you will need two people. May be possible with one person with truck on a lift.
It took me a little more than an hour to install the mount. It was a little tight but I used a come a long to pull it into alignment.

Works great, fit well, easy to install, and allows me to place my ev-bikes in the front of the truck when traveling.
Very easy front reciever install, I was able to do it by myself with a hydralic floor jack. And no bumper modifications needed
Installed on a 2018 Chevy 3500HD (diesel)
Product arrived as scheduled in a shipping box that was damaged in transit. Upon inspection of the contents, it was determined everything was fine and all installation parts were securely attached to the hitch. It's understandable that a cardboard box with a 35 pound steel frame will get some damage in handling.
Installation: Absolutely watch the video online, it is extremely helpful! I jacked up the front of my truck about 6 inches and set jack stands in place on the jacking blocks behind front wheel wells. I also removed the plastic debris guard (4-15mm bolts) for easier access to the mounting points. I must say, the threaded pull wires are a wonderful addition that made the installation flawless! Take your time and follow the enclosed instructions (and video) and it should take you about 30-45 minutes. I am an average mechanic at best and this was a really easy install!
Be aware that adding the hitch up front will require you be careful with parking curbs, however I think the hitch is stout enough to insure it will destroy a concrete curb. Probably best to avoid testing that theory.
I test mounted a motorcycle carrier on the from of the truck and loaded up a KTM 690 Duke. (315 lbs) Virtually no sag in the front suspension and to bike should ride well with proper pads & tie-downs. Makes for an interesting hood ornament ;)
All in all, a great product and vendor. You can buy with confidence.

Stout Hitch
The Curt Front Mount Hitch is a great addition to any working man's truck. The fit is so tight that I had to bend the side frame tabs out a little bit to get it mounted. Once in place it mounted exactly as described.
I really like the front hitch. I use it to haul kayaks when I'm towing my fifth wheel.
My only complaint is that it significantly decreases my front end clearance. I now tend to hit ground while going through dips.
Other than that, it's been great.
Overall quality looking hitch. The side-flanges were not wide enough to fit around my ‘16 Sierra 3500 frame which was extremely difficult to install, especially with the fish-wire. Had to use a floor jack to push the hitch into place and remove the skid plate and thankfully there was an access hole in the frame where the flange-bolt goes. Did not want to cut a hole behind the license plate so this was the only option and would buy again if needed but the flanges should be 1/16th to an 1/8 of an inch wider.

Had to remove, to low to the ground and kept hitting everything.
Came a day early now to install looks good can't wait to see how it fits
etrailer needs to package their hitches better... I have received 2 of them and both boxes they were shipped in were just about destroyed! They were full of holes and tape covering up holes! Please package them better!!

I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you.
I searched far and wide for a front hitch for my 2018 GMC 2500 HD Denali, most will not fit the Denali for some reason. This one did so with no trimming of the air dam, it's a perfect fit and only took about 45 minutes to install by myself. This will be the second truck I've owned with a front hitch and it seems like a necessity at this point, they're great for bicycle racks, winches, kayak racks, you name it!
Shipping box was trashed, all attaching parts were very well protected and nothing was lost. Installation was exactly as the video explained with no issues. Haven't used it yet.
Very well built, relatively easy to ins tall.
Snowsport PlowEtrailer.com does it right from start to finish. On top of having a great web site, the staff are the best.
Keeping in mind, I ordered this in December, about 5 days before our first big snow, here in Ohio. Within an hour of ordering my SnowSport HD plow, I was upgraded to special priority shipping, that was a nice surprise! The plow arrived in about two days, in three boxes, as I ordered the front hitch at the same time. I feel bad for my UPS carrier, these boxes were not for the faint of heart. The assembly went smoothly, the manufacturer uses high end parts and everything is well marked and the instructions are easy to follow. I estimate it took me two hours to get everything put together, with a coffee break in between. I am impressed with the construction, wow. Heavy duty is right!
We had four inches of snow yesterday. I opened the garage door and went to work, two pushes to clear the parking spots, and one easy push down the two hundred foot gravel driveway. Like butter.
I was done. It took less then 15 minutes. I put this blade on my 2003 rear wheel drive, not 4x4, Chevy Blazer. I backed into the garage and it looked like I had just put the blade on, this blade could last a long time. I love it. I cant wait until we get a foot or more of snow, my wife wants to plow next time. Plus I have cable chains comming from Etrailer, they should be here any day. Just in case my two wheel drive has tracktion problems in the deeper snow. Thanks a bunch, Etrailer!
We installed this on our 2011 Honda Ridgeline and a week later it snowed... And snowed.... And snowed.. 5 feet in 24 hours ( we live on the lake near Buffalo) and it's still snowing... This wasn't good, it was AWESOME! It was an easy install and assembly and worked absolutely perfect! We have a tough driveway and this kept it clear with no issues, no problems and we used it all day and night! When you spend that much on something you've never even seen before you can have reservations... It's worth every penny. It's solid ( more than we thought it would be) and does the job with ease. No .. It's good, but...... It's exactly as advertised and etrailer not only had the best price, the communication with my order was exceptional. Now... If only the town could send a plow down my street.....
The Curt hitch assembly arrived in excellent condition. As usual, George did a fantastic job of getting my order to me very promptly. The installation went perfectly and exactly as shown in the video on the etrailer.com website. The front hitch fit was perfect on my 2015 GMC Sierra.

Ive driven thousands of miles with my bicycle rack attached to the Curt front receiver. The Curt front receiver has performed perfectly. The best thing is I didnt have to cut or alter my truck to install it.
We added this hitch to the front of our GMC Sierra 1 ton and carry 2 ruckus motorcycles with us camping. This is a 500 lb. load upfront and carries wonderfully. It does hang low under the front bumper, so you will hit the curb if you park straight in. It will also hit a steep driveway. A lift kit for the truck is a possible cure but we carry a large camper and would be top heavy. We would buy this product again in a heartbeat as it is well constructed and easy to install in minutes.

Still love it, but rough roads are a no go without lifting our truck. There are many asphalt marks from Jasper to Yellowstone.
I had a few hiccups while assembling (over tightening things early, I think) but once I got it together it’s been awesome. Clears easily and efficiently. Have used to clear as much as 14” of snow (that required pushing off to the side more often) but once you get used to the technique this thing is a lifesaver. I can clear a 300’ long driveway in 15 minutes or so for an average 4-5” snowfall.
Mounted the hitch yesterday. Trying to get time to assemble the balance. And I retired???? Oh, golf today.

Works great. I have used it twice to take my Kayak to the Sierras. Works well with my truck while pulling a Grand Design 5th wheel

Great, except for the reduced front clearance as indicated in my review
