Being a visual learner I LOVE their video tutorials. The hitch and wiring harness were easy to install, though it always seems to take me longer than their estimate given I am not using air tools, etc.
Hitch was a perfect fit and just right for my little boat trailer. Very satisfied with it.
The hitch works as I had hoped, My bike rack fits well.
Shipping was fast, product fitup great, but it looked used or slid around during or before shipping. Powder coating flaked off, and weld beads were very poor.
Very easy to order on website. Fast shipping stop. And I like the videos that give you a ideal of installing the hitch. I was very happy to see that the hitch fit perfect with clearance for the touchless hatch operation.
Why doesn't the tube extend the 2" or 3". You have to use the extender to use a simple bike rack

The design of the draw-tite hitch part 36642 is a bit recessed under the vehicle. An extender will cut your tongue weight capacity by 50 percent. If you do not want to cut your tongue weight the best solution is to get a bike rack with a longer shank. The Thule hitching post pro is designed with 13-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole and the closest part of the carrier. This will give you enough clearance to use it on your GMC Terrain without an extender.
The video with step-by-step instructions worked out perfectly with no hiccups everything was as described in the description before purchase and installing the hitch and wiring harness was very easy and done in a timely manner highly recommended!
After reading instructions and watching the video it took about 1hour to install the hitch and trailer hitch

The hitch was very dusty like it's been in warehouse a long time and in a beat up semi open box. I was worried it was damaged but lucky it was not. It had all bolts and parts. It seems like over kill on a heavy hitch for a class II hitch.
Installation was exactly as shown on the instruction video. SWEEET!

My hitch arrived within a few days of placing order. Was very easy to install. Watched a very good YouTube video on the install. This is on a 2019 Equinox. The hitch is a bit lower than the one I had on a 2017 Equinox, but works with my bicycle rack fine.

My hitch is used primarily to hold my bicycle rack and is working fine after one year
I ordered and installed the 1 1/4 inch trailer hitch on my 2018 Equnox mainly to tow my 16 ft. Bass boat. I did this because I have had several cars in the past and have always used a 1 1/4 inch hitch and have never had any trouble. All of my inserts are 1 1/4 inch. Now I am reading all the specs for the hitch I installed and find that it is barely heavy enough to fit my towing needs. For the same price I could have installed a 2 inch hitch and not had the light towing restrictions. My only option is to purchase and install the heavier hitch and try to resell my present one.
The tow package arrived in a timely manner and in good condition. Installation went well thanks to the videos the company provided. The only issue I had was that the muffler rattled against the hitch no matter what I did. I rechecked my installation and followed suggestions from the retailer. I ended up using a universal muffler hanger that allowed me to lower the exhaust 1/2". This solved the problem, and the hitch has performed well over the last year and still looks great. I have bought from this company before and will buy from them again in the future.
Trailer hitch was just what I needed. This is the second hitch purchased from etrailer. The first one I installed. This one I had a mechanic install as I had health issues. It works well with my bike rack. The kit was complete and easy to install. Best done with a helper to hold it in place while you get the bolts started.
The complete order was timely and as expected. Very good experience as I have always had with E trailer purchases.
I bought this hitch for a new vehicle to use with a bike rack I already owned. I bought that from you, also. When the hitch was delivered I called because the box was open. Someone stayed on the line with me while I checked to make sure nothing was missing. Great service. When my friends asked where I got my bike rack and hitch, I always tell them trailer.

Hitch was so easy to Install with the detailed instructions I got. I did it myself- with no helper! After using it for a 2-bike rack about 30 times in the past year, it’s still doing great. I use the long bolt instead of the cotter/linchpin and I have no rattle or excel movement. Very satisfied with this purchase.
This is a very solid trailer hitch. It fit my 2018 Equinox perfectly and it was easy to install. It only took about 45 minutes to do the complete job and its hidden profile easily keeps the receiver away from obstructions. After one year, it's still in prime condition.
Almost all hitch receivers were damaged/bent and required straightening in order to fit on the vehicles, which took a lot of time and effort to make them usable.
The hitch is very solid and easy to install. It fits quite well and much of it is concealed so it looks good too. Shipping was very fast and the service at etrailer has always been good. My only issue is it was very scratched and there was peeling paint on arrival (I uploaded one picture showing some of the scratching). It wasn't due to shipping but packaged that way. I had to buy some spray paint and paint it myself because there was a fair amount of bare metal showing that I didn't want rusting. On the underside of the hitch there was also a lot of slag from welding. Not a huge deal but it shows that not a lot of care was taken when it was welded. I'm sure the hitch will work just fine but I'd be a lot happier if it hadn't arrived all scratched up and have welding slag all over the bottom of it.
We the hitch also every weekend. It works great.

Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. T-One connector plugs directly into OEM tow package harness - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.My 2019 Terrain did not come equipped with the factory trailer package, so I had anticipated having to splice into individual wires for tail lights, brake and turn signals. However, the etrailer wiring harness was literally plug and play. There was one section in the instructions that required removal of an interior panel on the left side of the rear luggage area, to check for the presence of a relay on a circuit board. Etrailer included that relay if needed, but in my case, the appropriate relay was there, so no additional relay was required. I use a small bungie cord to keep the flat four connector pulled up inside the bumper cover, when not using the hitch. The trailer hitch and wiring harness have worked well for the year since installation, so I'm a happy camper.
Great product. The installation was fairly simple. Instructions should say, " be sure the hitch is above the muffler, against the frame, before you reattach the bumper. That part took me a bit to figure out.
Plug in play harness. I watch the video from etrailer on this harness install. I check my vehicle to insure it had factory installed connector. Which my vehicle had l installed 118285 before installing the draw-tite hitch number 76419. I used a trailer light circuit tester. I have shared pictures of the circuit being tested the tool used and the vehicle connector that has to be removed.

Your video’s sold me on this T-one wiring harness. Excellent explanation, with visual information made this super easy to install. The harness is well built and literally….. just plug it in! I’m a new customer to etrailer.com and will definitely come back.
The video was perfect. Found the wire harness tucked behind bumper. I would have never figured out the release clip with out the video help. Plug and play. My 2018 Terrain had 1 big relay already installed in K3 so mine was quick. I bought the tester to verify install. New hitch and wiring installed 1 hour and 20 minutes. Having the tool sizes listed helped having next to me on the ground while installing. About 11 inch height so I am getting a riser to make trailer level. Still working perfectly. No issues.
hitch is just what is was suppose to be. Instructions where bad not detailed enough as to how the hitch fit in muffler assembly. Took me over 3 hrs and I consider myself to be good at repairing and fixing. Havent put the electrical connection on yet.
This Wire Harness fit perfectly on the 2020 Chevy Equinox.It was like plug and play easy after mounting with a 4 pole flat mount.

Works great
Didn't even have to take off a tail light. The car came with a dummy plug on it that I had to take off by sliding the red plastic away from the wired side then pressing the black part in the middle of the red slide while pulling off the connector. Wam Bam plugged in my new harness to that, and I got lights. Couldn't be easier. They shipped a couple of relays to but my trailer has LED so they are not necessary which is good cause my fuse block had a space but did not has connectors for it.
NOTE, the connector under the bumper is hard to get to so if you are unfamiliar with this kind of plug try taking one off under the hood that is easier to get too

Items purchased, Draw-tite trailer hitch and Tekonsha wiring kit for our 2020 Equinox. This was my first encounter with etrailer, and I must say I was impressed. From the initial order placement, I knew where my order was while in route and exactly when it would arrive. I had previously watched the installation videos on both products and they could not have been clearer. Total time from opening boxes, to tools put away was less than 2 hours. All parts are of quality materials and fitment along with reasonable prices. While this may have been my first experience with etrailer, it certainly will not be my last. Thanks to all for making everything go smoothly.
Easy install took only a few minutes
Grateful to etrailer videos for pointing out that most Equinox vehicles have the prep wiring for the trailer wiring. Very easy install once you get the protective cap off the factory connector under the bumper. Take a look under the hood to find a similar connector and practice, since it is rather difficult to remove tucked under the bumper. Also the video points out that the relays that come with the kit are probably not required.
This was a very quick and easy installation. No fitment issues and is tucked away perfect. I highly recommend this product.

perfect fit I love it
Very easy install. I watched the video before the install just to get an idea of what needed to take place. Got a little worried when I saw the guy using the fishing wire to pull the hardware through; I was thinking, where the crap am I going to find that at. Don't worry, it comes with it. Coolest thing ever and works just as easy as the video shows. Also, if you have a 2019 Chevy Equinox you do not have to widen the hole for the hardware to fit through as shown in the video, either chevy made the hole bigger or etrailer made the hardware smaller. Either way it went in flawlessly. Now I'm on the hunt for a new trailer. Oh, and the recommended wiring harness was a perfect fit and just as easy to install as the video shows as well. Caution: I did this by myself in a bout an hour but take note that this thing is made of some thick steel and is heavy; you MAY need another set of hands.
