The hitch receivers for the 2011 Toyota Avalon are all Class I, like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11427, which have a tongue weight capacity of 200 lbs. Carrying a 400 lb wheelchair would far exceed this capacity and there is an extremely good chance that it would damage the hitch as well as the points on the frame where the hitch connects.
