The cabin filter in your 2009 Jeep Compass is behind the glove box. You'll need to push in on the sides of your glove box when it's open so that you can lower it and then when that's out of the way you'll see a black plastic panel with the word "AIRFLOW" on it. It has a release on either side and will allow you to pull off the cover. Behind that is the filter. The part # 3513712 is then the correct replacement. view full answer...

The best methods for helping to quiet down a non-ducted RV air conditioner are general maintenance and air filters. You can add additional air filter material like the Filter # RA33QV to your exhaust ducts. While this will help to reduce some of the sound waves coming down through the air conditioner it will also slow down air flow as well. You will want to regularly clean the filters, fan, and coils on the air conditioner to help it run correctly. view full answer...

When it comes to a cold air intake system for your 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty XLT Triton V10, I have two options for you, Airaid CAD Cold Air Intake System with SynthaFlow Oiled Filter, # AR400-226, and Airaid CAD Cold Air Intake System with SynthaMax Dry Filter, # AR401-226.
The difference between the two is that the oil based filter will have a higher filtration rating because of the oil in the filter and the dry filter will offer less maintenance because you will not have to apply oil... view full answer...

That will depend on the roads you travel. Oil filters are a tighter filter and a great option if you will see a lot of dusty or gravel roads. The oil just does a better job filtering off the dust than a dry filter. If you primarily are on dust-less streets a dry filter will work well and since it's easier to clean and way less messy it's the best option then.
So for an oiled cold air intake the Airair part # AR510-301 that you referenced is a great option confirmed to fit. For the same... view full answer...

If you drive your 2008 Honda Ridgeline mostly on paved roads, I would recommend going with the Airaid Cold Air Intake System with Oil-Based Filter, # AR530-202. With the oil-type filter, it is recommended to clean and re-oil every 25,000 to 30,000 miles. Oiled filters allow for the greatest amount of airflow.
If you drive on paved and semi-dusty roads, then I recommend going with the Airaid Cold Air Intake System with Dry Filter, # AR531-202. The dry filter has the same maintenance schedule... view full answer...

Which system is better will really depend on you.
If you're a 'Type A' person who's pretty much on top of things all the time, I'd recommend the Oil-Based Filter model, part # AR300-107 because the 5-layer filter provides better filtration than the # AR301-107 dry filter model, especially if you regularly operate your vehicle in dusty areas. This system does require some maintenance, it will need to be cleaned and re-oiled occasionally. A cleaning and oiling kit is available as part #... view full answer...

When picking between an oiled or dry filter cold air intake system it really comes down to the roads you'll be travelling on. If you know you'll be on gravel or dirt roads you really need an oiled kit. If you don't think you'll ever be on either of those types of road a dry filter is more than adequate and since they are much easier and less messy to clean they are the way to go.
