  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2004 Monaco Cayman Diesel Pusher With 7,500 Pound Capacity
  • In order to add a hitch with that kind of capacity to your 2004 Monaco Cayman you are going to need the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver - Weld On - Class V - 2". We have the # 41990-07 with 7" brackets or # 41990-16 with 16" brackets depending on the distance between the frame rails and the bottom of your rear bumper. Since this hitch requires welding I recommend taking it to a local welder for installation. The hitch has a 16,000 lb max gross trailer weight and...

  • Recommended 2-1/2" Trailer Hitch for a 2006 Thomas School Bus
  • I do have an option for you but there aren't any custom fit trailer hitch options for a 2006 Thomas School Bus. That said, we do still have universal options which can be installed either via welding or cutting/drilling. For this, I recommend the Curt Class 5 Universal Weld-on Hitch part # C87CR which uses very large side plates so you have a lot of room for error when modifying them to make fit. It has a class v rating with 2-1/2" opening which is great for heavy duty towing.

  • Options For Leveling The Back End Of A 1998 Newmar Kountry Star Motorhome
  • For a 1998 Newmar Kountry Star, you options are going to be limited. If the leaf springs are stock, replacing them with a new, slightly heavier duty spring may help to lift the rear slightly. I do not have literature that will tell me leaf spring specs for your motorhome. We would need you to inspect one of the springs and take some measurements of the overall length and width and such. We may have a spring to replace it, depending on what you have on there. As far as suspension enhancement,...

  • Parts Needed To Add 7-way Connector To A 1999 Freightliner FS65 Bus/Skoolie
  • I would be happy to help! First you will need to install a 4-way connector. Since there is not a custom fit option for your 1999 Freightliner FS65 bus you will need a universal option like the 4-Pole Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # C59496 which will splice into your factory wiring with the included quick splices. You will need to identify the passenger side turn signal/stop light, driver side turn signal/stop light, and your tail light wires using the included circuit tester. Since...

  • How To Wire a Standard 4 and 7-Way Trailer Connector On a Semi Tractor
  • I do have an option for you but semi tractors use separate stop and turn signal circuits and they will need to be combined to tow a recreational trailer. Therefore, you will first need a converter like the Hopkins Tail Light Converter part # HM48847. Then you can wire up a trailer connector like the 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Sockets part # HM40975-11998 which comes with both a 4 and 7-way as well as a mounting bracket.

  • Recommendation of a Trailer Hitch for a 2003 Freightliner FL-70 Semi Truck
  • At this time none of our manufacturers we work with offer custom fit trailer hitches for your 2003 Freightliner FL-70. On the other hand, we offer heavy duty weld-on specialty trailer hitches. I have included a couple links to all the weld-on hitches we offer. A certified welding professional is recommended when installing weld-on hitches.
