Based on the noise you are describing, it sounds like the brake assembly on the driver side is out of adjustment, or is sticking.

The least expensive option for a camera setup for your Rockwood that was pre-wired for a Furrion setup is the # FOS43TASF. Anything else would be much more difficult to install and honestly wouldn't work nearly as well. Since you need more drop than the ball mount you have now which has a friction sway control attached to side of it the easiest solution would be to go with a bracket like the part # RP26003 which fits over the ball mount platform and allows you to basically use whichever ball mount you need to provide correct rise/drop to tow trailer level. I can definitely help and point you in the right direction. We have a few lift kits available and it will just depend on exactly what kind of axles you have on your camper. The Lift kit # K71-725-02 that you were looking at will #12 Torflex axles with 5,500-7,000-lb capacities.
