Troubleshooting Grinding Noise At Low Speeds On Driver Side of 2019 Forest River Travel Trailer
Question:
I can’t find an answer. I have a Rockwood signature ultra lite. 8327ss. It grinds at lowers speeds from what I can hear not a consistent but like womp womp rotation noise. If I tap brake controller or pedal it stops briefly but then starts again. It’s not real loud but going through my neighborhood I can hear it. Drivers side. Thank you

Based on the noise you are describing, it sounds like the brake assembly on the driver side is out of adjustment, or is sticking.
This is pretty easy to check by taking a look at the included article that goes over adjusting trailer brakes, and first making sure your brakes are adjusted correctly. Using a trailer brake adjustment spoon like # W80630 will make the adjustment process easier. If they are, then next you will want to remove the hub to make sure no grease from a failed grease seal got on to the brake assembly causing it to stick.
If neither of these steps correct your issue, just let me know and I would be happy to recommend different troubleshooting steps like checking your wheel bearings for you.
