Ideally a hitched trailer will be level to the ground. We often recommend starting off with the hitch ball being a bit higher - an inch or so - than the top of the coupler on the level trailer since once hitched there will be a degree of squat in the rear of the tow vehicle from the trailer tongue weight. Typically if there's not a lock number available then there's no way to know what replacement key is needed; if the lock is already unlocked then the best solution would be just to replace the lock completely. You could likely use the # SR03807, but if you can provide a photo of which locking mechanism your Sears cargo carrier used I can help you locate the correct part.

Unfortunately, none of the hitches we carry for your Acura MDX is going to work with your full size spare tire. You can still use a hitch like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C22HR you'd just have to remove the spare and won't be able to re-install it.
Seeing as though that isn't really the best option, I recommend instead getting rid of your hitch bike rack and get a trunk mounted rack instead.

The best way to determine the size of bearing buddy needed would be to take a highly accurate measurement of your hub bore using a digital caliper. I have edited a photo for you that shows this dimension.

For your 2022 MDX you will need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C22HR. This hitch receiver is custom fit and designed specifically for your vehicle. I recommend looking at the Stainless Steel Locking, Anti-Rattle Threaded Hitch Pin for 2" Trailer Hitches # SR25219, which is going to give you the security you need and does a great job at eliminating rattle on hitch mounted accessories. There really isn't an inconspicuous locking hitch pin, but the black lock body on this pin does a fairly good job of blending in with your hitch.

When installing the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13146 onto your 2015 Acura MDX your 19 inch spare tire will not be able to be stowed underneath the vehicle. There will be no hitches available that will fir your 19 inch spare tire. What you will need to do is go to your local Acura dealer and pick up a 17 inch spare wheel and tire to be mounted underneath.

The 2007 Acura MDX is actually similar to the Honda Pilot and not so much the Ridgeline. But manufacturers have not confirmed that any parts for the Pilot will work on the MDX. To install a brake controller you will need to hardwire one in.
