A lift is not required to be able to install the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e95ZR on your 2022 Hyundai Palisade. You may find it easier to raise the rear of your Palisade up off the ground so that you can more easily access the mounts for the exhaust and be able to lower the exhaust to get the receiver in place. We have a couple of potential options for you that can help, but there isn't a way to strengthen a hitch in regards to its capacity. So the first thing to do is check to ensure you aren't exceeding the tongue weight limit of the hitch that is on your 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. What I strongly recommend instead that will fix your problem is the Flush King Reverse Flush Valve for RV Holding Tanks and Sewer Hoses - 3" Diameter # F02-4350 because it is designed for the exact problem you are having. It will flush the hoses so the waste water does not stay the "T" on your photo. It would require you to hook up a hose, Flushing Hose for RV Sewer System # W01-4180 (15 feet) or # W01-4300 (25 feet) but would be the remedy to your issue.

The Curt hitch # 13538 is the correct hitch for a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe. It should allow for storage of a full size spare tire without any issue. We have installed this hitch here a 2009 Santa Fe and it all fit together fine. That said when we installed, the spare tire was fully inflated but we did not move it. I can see how getting it back into position could be tricky. In this case I am not aware of a work around.
