I checked the owner's manual and on page 182 saw that the powertrain is not designed for towing and that you should never tow a trailer with your 2014 Ford C-Max. I cannot recommend a hitch that would allow you to tow. The 44" Rhino-Rack Fairing for Roof Racks # RRRF3 is what you need for the Euro-Style roof rack on your 2017 Ford C-Max. The clamps do look like they are designed better for aero-style crossbars but the clamps will fit round, square, and aero crossbars styles without any issues.
If you're interested in a different mount style I recommend checking out the Yakima WindShield Fairing for Roof Racks # Y05018 which secures using a strap-type system as opposed to clamps.

Here's how you will know if the SMI Air Pressure Stop Light Switch Kit # SM99629 is needed when using the SMI Air Force One supplemental braking system. With you engine turned off on your vehicle go out and press the brake pedal of the vehicle. If the brake lights come on then you don't need this switch.
