That depends on the cargo carrier and whether it is loaded or not. Many of the carriers will allow you to open the hatch when empty, but if you have a lot of stuff stacked on the carrier, your cargo may block the door.

When calculating tongue weight for a weight distribution system you would not add the weight of the system into the calculations.
To choose a weight distribution system you will need to go by the total tongue weight of the set up. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.

The large brown relay activates the 12 volt power circuit and the blue relays power the turn signal circuits. The brown relay may not be needed for you since you the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56225 that you referenced has a 4-way and does not necessarily need this circuit activated.

Due to how the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform part # RR42115BF attaches to crossbars this would easily attach to the round bars of your Yakima rack that has 31 inches between the towers from left to right. That width would not be an issue at all.
