I have a recommendation for you Kevin as the top receiver on the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount # D210 is only designed to carry the load of a hitch mounted accessory. It is not rated for a line pull like you will have with a winch. The receiver itself does not have a specific tongue load rating but the entire assembly should not have more than 750lbs of total tongue weight between the trailer and hitch mounted accessory.

We are not going to have any option for a ball mount with 2" hitch ball on both the rise and drop position. I recommend looking at the BulletProof Hitches 2-Ball Mount # BPH64FR as this will allow you to easily flip the hitch for either a rise or drop and since it uses adjustable pins you can easily flip the ball as well.
If this is something you plan to store in your receiver I recommend the Lock Set # 34061674-D so it does not walk away. view full answer...
I'm sorry to hear about your trouble and I would be happy to help you get your boat where it needs to go. For a hitch that fits your 2017 Tucson and won't need to be returned I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e54AR you were looking at. This has a bolt-on installation and a matte black finish.
The hitch also has a concealed cross tube so only the receiver will be visible at the back of your vehicle, giving it a nice clean look. The 2" receiver makes it a better choice over... view full answer...
For a hitch that fits your 2024 Honda Odyssey EX-L I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76170. The main reason I would choose this hitch over other options is the concealed crosstube. Not only does this improve clearance, it also gives the hitch a much cleaner look.
The only hitch I think is better is the Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite # DT76GR, but that comes at a greater cost. This hitch has a completely removable receiver so you have no clearance lost and a factory... view full answer...
Hello Darren. It sounds like you are looking for a shock absorbing ball mount for towing your boat trailer. For your setup you will want something at least 12K rated. I recommend the Gen-Y Torsion 2-Ball Mount # 325-GH-1224. This ball mount uses torsion rubber to absorb shock. This is great because you get noticeable results with zero maintenance. It features 4 stacked receivers for height adjustment and it comes with both a 2" and a 2-5/16" ball. This particular model is rated for16,000... view full answer...
Hi Hubie,
I checked with all of our manufacturers, and just one makes a gooseneck hitch that fits your 2020 Ram 1500 short bed, which is the B&W hitch:
- B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1319
This is the hitch and mounting hardware, and while it is not a folding ball it does store upside down when you aren't towing so you have a clear truck bed. This is also the single best gooseneck hitch you can get, in large part due to the square base of the ball (which is... view full answer...
The best ball mount for towing a jetski with your 2018 Infiniti Q50 is going to be the Curt Class II Euro Style Drawbar with 2" Ball item # C45552. A Euro-style drawbar is a one piece unit, with the trailer ball permanently welded to the drawbar. It will give you a 3-1/2" rise from the top of the shank to top of ball. This will be helpful considering how low to the ground the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C11407 sits.
You will also need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C56248... view full answer...
Hey Cal!
The largest shank size for the "slip-on" style of sway control brackets we have is the Reese Sway-Control Bracket # RP26003 for a 1" shank.
Since you need something larger you'll need to have the Sway Control Tab # 3442 welded on to your current ball mount to add that sway control feature.
Technically you could try to enlarge the hole on the Reese bracket but then you run the risk of ruining the integrity of the sway control bracket so that isn't necessarily recommended. view full answer...
Hey Anthony, so Shocker Hitch does not offer a version of the part # SHK88ZR without the hitch ball so best option would be to order this part number and then remove the ball. Hitch balls generally aren't very expensive though so even if what you are looking for was available the price difference wouldn't be huge. view full answer...
For your 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA250 I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75223. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver and a bolt-on installation. Out of all of the options available I like this one the best because it has a concealed cross tube. That means you have better clearance and a clean look since only the receiver is visible at the rear.
If you plan on towing you will also need the Tekonsha Powered Tail Light Converter w/ 4-Way Flat # 119147KIT. For... view full answer...
Based on what you mentioned it does seem like a rise of about 7 inches or so would be ideal for you. For a fixed ball mount the part # C45338 would be a really great option or for a more universal solution an adjustable ball mount like the part # FA42-00-2600 would cover basically everything. view full answer...
Yes, we sure do! I recommend our own branded etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e79AR. This has the common 2" opening for many accessories and ball mounts. It is coated in our matte black finish so that it blends in well with the OEM appearance and also hides scratches. view full answer...
Hi Christopher; it looks like you have the Flash Simple 2-Ball Mount # FA42-00-2600. There is a bolt that you can tighten to eliminate the play in the hitch balls, so I'm assuming this isn't as tight as it once was after using it over time. All you will need is a 5/16" Allen wrench to tighten it down. view full answer...
Hey Fred,
For a 2023 Toyota Corolla Hatchback you'd be able to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11567 that you were already looking at. From there you would want to measure the distance from the bottom of the trailer coupler to the top of the inside of the trailer hitch receiver to see what kind of rise you'd need to keep the trailer level while towing. Once we know what rise you'll need we can find the right ball mount.
You'll also want to pick up the Curt T-Connector Vehicle... view full answer...
Hey Jason, so unfortunately we do not carry a sway control bracket that is made for a 2-1/2" hitch. For that the only option would be to use a Weld-On Sway Control Tab # C45822 and have one attached to your current ball mount.
I wanted to add that generally for larger trucks with 2-1/2" hitches we would recommend using a weight distribution hitch to help control and eliminate sway. The friction sway bars can work well, but they do become less effective on larger heavier trailers. I am... view full answer...
Hi Clifford,
There are offset gooseneck hitch ball options for your 2023 Ram 2500, but we'll need to know what kind of hitch you have (B&W Turnoverball, Curt or Reese gooseneck, OEM puck system). I've got a few recommendations for you depending on what you have:
B&W Turnoverball: 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches # BWGNXA4085.
Reese Gooseneck Hitch: 5" Offset Ball for Hide-A-Goose Gooseneck Trailer Hitches # 19308.
Curt Gooseneck Hitch: Curt 4" Offset Ball... view full answer...
The Curt Heavy Duty Forged Ball Mount # C45331 is a solid steel shank. However, the # C45042 is not solid. I'm also sorry to say we do not have a pintle hook with a solid shank and that much rise. The closest thing is the Blue Ox Adjustable Ball Mount with Pintle Hook for 2" Hitch # BLU45XR which has a max rise of 2-3/4". view full answer...
Hey Steve! I really like having the wiring sit next to the receiver as well so I definitely get where you're coming from. Here are the parts I recommend installing on your 2024 Mazda CX-5:
- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98902
- Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C45FV
- Mounting Brackets # 18144 and # C57202
There are a few grommets in the bottom of your hatch that you can route the 4-Way connector through and then you'll use the mounting brackets to hold the 4-Way next... view full answer...
Hey Michael; for the newer generation 2500HD I recommend going with the 7 inch drop Tow & Stow:

I would be happy to Ken! The best hitch for a 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is our etrailer item # e23ZR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Toyota with included hardware. This hitch fits all models of the 2024 RAV4 including your Hybrid Premium XLT.
The reason the etrailer item # e23ZR is the best hitch for your hybrid is because the crosstube mounts behind your rear bumper leaving only the 2" receiver visible. This not only looks better because it is hidden but it also helps with ground... view full answer...
