I'd be more than happy to help you out, Herb!
A common light kit for boat trailers is the Optronics Fleet LED Trailer Tail Lights w/ Grommets # TLL12RK which measure 6-1/2" long x 2-5/16" tall for the light face and are submersible. It's best to make your wiring connections with something like the Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connector Kit # DW05744-10 because they seal up the connections better than standard butt connectors.

Hey Moran,
The Loadstar ST185/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire with 13" Galvanized Wheel # AM3S334 you were already looking at is going to be the best option for your boat trailer if you go boating in salt water. For fresh water you'll want to go with a painted wheel like the # AM3S331 instead. view full answer...
Hey John,
With weight distribution hitches we actually don't include the weight of the hitch itself into the tongue weight on the hitch because it's leveraging the weight through the frame to distribute it to the front axle. It's best to stay under 80-85% of your towing capacity to give yourself a buffer so upgrading the tow vehicle to something with a higher capacity might be the safest option depending on how heavy the trailer is once fully loaded.
If upgrading to a higher capacity... view full answer...
Hello Kurt, about how long is that section of pipe in your picture? Both the 8 inch long # 277-000162 and the 13 inch long # 277-000161 are safe to use with 1/2" pex pipes. Using a larger pad will provide more heat so if you can fit the larger pad that will be your best bet. Keep in mind that these pads were made for a 3" diameter pipe, so you might need to get creative in order to fit it to a 1/2" pex pipe. Adding additional insulation is also a good idea, although we do not offer any... view full answer...
Hi Joan,
We don't have much of a selection of hoist/pulley systems that would really work with your situation so the Viking Solutions Rack Jack Magnum Hoist w/ Winch # 310-VMH001 is likely going to be the best option when at the dock. The # 310-VKH001 doesn't swivel so it you'd have a hard time trying to hoist the boat up and pull it over onto or off of the dock. The # 310-VMH001 does swivel and you could mount a bike rack storage mount like the Swagman # S80940 to the dock to secure... view full answer...
The only non-tankless model that we currently offer is the Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR. This heater is a bit smaller and only comes with a 6 gallon tank so it's a bit less than what you're looking for. The Atwood line has pretty much been phased out by Dometic so I recommend checking with them directly to see if they have a similar Dometic branded 10 gallon unit to replace the GCH10A-4E. view full answer...
Good morning and thank you for your question. I recommend for you the Therma Heat RV Holding Tank Heater Pad # 277-000164. This is a 18-1/4" long x 12" wide heater pad so you will want to make sure your tank has adequate surface area. There is also a 25" Long x 7-1/4" Wide pad available # 277-000163 if that will be a better fit.
The best thing about this pad is the built in thermostat that automatically operates the pad. It will only come on when the temperature drops below 45 degrees.... view full answer...
Hey Matthew,
We don't offer the Suburban brand so I'm unsure if they offer an adapter to cover up the gap left from your Atwood Water Heater. I typically recommend Furrion because their tankless water heater is one of the best options on the market and they have multiple door sizes to cover up gaps. To put it in perspective the SW6DEL maxes out around 16 gallons of hot water per hour, whereas the # FR93FR can produce up to 144 gallons of hot water per hour. If you want to switch to a Furrion... view full answer...
Hey Rodney,
The Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater # LSB44FR unfortunately does not come with a trim kit to fill in the excess gap left behind from an old larger Atwood model. Instead I recommend going with a Furrion unit for a larger door and better quality performance.
Furrion's units come with the following door sizes:
16" x 16" # FR98SR
16" x 18" # FR48SR
18" x 18" # FR68SR
I've attached a video below where Jake had to fill in the gap from a larger unit to help give you a better... view full answer...
Yes, we do! For your 2013 Open Range 297RLS 5th wheel trailer you'll want the Adco Olefin HD RV Cover for 5th Wheel Toy Haulers up to 34' Long item # AD49ZR. The Olefin HD fabric works best for repelling water, and protecting against mold or mildew as the fabric is able to still breath. This cover is designed to work well for long term storage.
The Adco item # AD49ZR also has zippered panels so you can access the inside of your trailer without having to remove the cover while it's in... view full answer...
The Phoenix Faucets RV Shower Valve with Brass Fittings # PF213321 is a much better option than the Plastic Fittings # PF223242. With the issues the one person was having it makes me think there is something else going on that being the real reason they had to keep replacing the cartridge. It could have been very harsh water and they weren't using an inline filter or it may have been damaged but that is not something we have regularly seen. view full answer...
Hi Anna,
Finding the right fit for your motorhome is going to depend on a few factors. The first being space, power centers do range in size but most are quite large if your motorhome is a Class B. The next thing to determine is how many circuit breaker and fuse ports are going to be needed to power the equipment you have. Along with that you'll also need to size the converter amperage to the battery bank and take special notice of any requirements for the batteries since you mentioned... view full answer...
To install the Brake Mounting Flange # 4-34 on your 2,000 lb axle you'll need to have an experienced welder/trailer shop do the installation for you as they would know the best placement for the flange. We don't do that kind of installation so I don't have any info regarding the placement of the flange.
You can definitely get a new axle with a flange pre-installed but that's something you'll need to talk with a trailer shop about as the dimensions you took aren't standard.
I also recommend... view full answer...
