Unfortunately Dave, there is no way to add an additional step to the 5-Step GlowStep # TLA8105. So your options are going to be to just go with the 6-Step # TLA8106 or to carry a platform like the # S-150 which you can use to set the 5-step unit on when you need the additional height. view full answer...
So we do have the Replacement Leg for MORryde StepAbove RV Steps # MR36DR, Replacement Leg and Footpad for Lippert SolidStep # LC39AF as well as the All Terrain Landing Gear for TorkLift GlowStep Scissor Steps # TLA8000 depending on what steps you may have. If you have more traditional fold out steps I have typically seen the Stabil-Step Stabilizer Jack # JSS-7 used in those situations. view full answer...
Hi Donna,
If you don't have enough room then there are other handrail options available depending on the style of steps your RV has. For example, if you have pull-out steps then you could install the Stromberg Carlson Rail Mate Folding Handrail for RV Steps # AP-101. This handrail has a bracket that you'll bolt to the side of the steps to allow you to easily mount and remove it as needed. If you have a different style of steps then let me know and I'd be happy to look for a solution. view full answer...
Hey Laurence, yes the Hollywood Rack RV Rider part # HLY64FR will work great with your Aventon Step Thru E-Bikes. It was designed to be able to carry e-bikes that have deep step thru frames like what you can see in the attached picture. view full answer...
Unfortunately, I believe the information you have is a Jayco part number and likely something they make in house. It would make sense the 99.63 may be the height of the rack as the Stromberg # LA-401 & # LA-401BA are both universal options which are 99-1/2" tall. These both do have 7 steps versus the 6 on your lader. view full answer...
Hey Braden, yes the Hollywood Racks RV Rider part # HLY64FR that you referenced can be used with step thru e-bikes. If you check out the attached picture you can see a step thru e-bike loaded on this rack. view full answer...
I don't have a way to look up that info by RV model info so I would need you to get me any part numbers you can find on your current steps so that I can piece it together from there. view full answer...
Good morning, Dennis. To update the 32 series step model 0108597 on your 2000 Tiffin Allegro, you will need the following:
- Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379145 view full answer...
Great question Rocky, so when the Lippert Solidstep part # LC713662 is folded up in the stored position it will take up 10 inches of space inside the doorway of your RV. view full answer...
That's a good question Allen but it's hard for us to say for sure what the function of the extra red wire is/was. If you have everything wired up on the new steps I would try using them and see if everything works like it should. If everything seems fine I would just tape up that extra wire and not worry about it. If the steps aren't functioning properly the wire might be needed but it would require knowing more about what's not working to get a better understanding.
Due to the age of... view full answer...
I really wish I had a way to see exactly what parts are installed on your 2023 Forest River R-Pod 171 but Forest River does not make the information public. Based on images of your camper it appears to have steps like the Lippert # LC432682 and I believe the Center Cap Plug # AM90081. If you can take some pictures and measurements for what you have I can verify if these are the correct parts or you will need something different. view full answer...
As you are adding the Advent Air Low Profile RV Air Conditioner # ADV89FR to an opening on your RV which did not already have an AC you will need to select from one of the 2 options. First is the manually controlled Air Distribution Box # ACDB. This has the manual dial you will switch on and off as needed. The other option is the Air Distribution Box w/ Wall-Mounted Thermostat # ACRG15. This is typically more convenient and necessary on taller campers where you cannot easily reach the ceiling... view full answer...
The Clearsource Ultra RV Water Filter System # CS87FR really is designed for "weekend warriors" such as yourself, who would only be using it occasionally, and are not living in the camper full time. It is very easy to set up and take down, and it is pretty lightweight, at least as far as water filtration systems go.
We do not recommend leaving it full when in storage though. What you will want to do is remove the filters and blow out the system with pressurized air (do not exceed 30 PSI).... view full answer...
Hi Keith; the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM150 can be used to replace your old Dometic. However, this is designed as a replacement for a Dometic setup with an external control box. Since that control box is destroyed you will also need the Air Distribution Box w/ Wall-Mounted Thermostat for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners # ACRG15. I also recommend adding the Start Capacitor # ACMSCKIT. You can pair these two parts with the used unit to get your AC replaced. view full answer...
It does seem like you would need a new motor which would be be part # LC379167 that you referenced. But I would check to make sure all of the mechanical elements of the steps are in decent shape like the gear and linkage. It's possible something is bent or worn out and that's what's preventing the step from going all the way in or out. view full answer...
Hey Kevin, it looks like the pre-wired bracket on your camper is the "shark fin" style bracket. This bracket is made specifically for the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera # FCN48TASF. The camera in your other picture is their rear red light camera. You could certainly still use the rear red light camera on your camper, it just would not use the pre-wired bracket.
If you want to use the pre-wired bracket, I do suggest returning the camera you purchased and instead getting the... view full answer...
Yes, the # TLD2142 is exactly what you need for your 2019 Ram 3500 with running boards extending under the truck bed. For the rear, you need the # TLD3112 if you have the factory hitch or # TLR3510 if you have the TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum 30K. view full answer...
Thanks for all the information! It sounds like your Kwikee steps control module has gone out or the wiring to it is bad. I recommend checking all of the wiring going to the unit to make sure there isn't any cuts or faults. If not the part number 1510000140 you gave me corresponds to the Replacement Control Unit for Kwikee 40 Series Electric RV Steps item # LC363985. I recommend replacing it.
If you want me to take a look at those pictures feel free to email me directly. view full answer...
