Hey Terry we have a fifth wheel rail kit that fits your 1994 Chevy K1500 and your Valley fifth wheel hitch with the B and W part # BWRVK3200. Thankfully Valley made their hitches to fit the industry standard fifth wheel rails like what the B and W kit I mentioned is. view full answer...
Hey Scott, so since the Super Glide 2700 fifth wheel hitch was designed to fit the industry standard fifth wheel rails all you'd need is a set like the B and W part # BWRVK2503 which is custom fit for your truck and provides the type of rails your hitch needs. The B and W rails are a custom fit kit that will install without frame drilling and also cost a lot less than other options so its' the way to go. view full answer...
Hey Nick, to install a Demco Hijacker Autoslider fifth wheel hitch like the part # DM8550035 in the bed of your 2019 GMC Sierra Denali short bed with the OEM pucks you'd need the rail kit adapter part # DM6194 and you'd be set. view full answer...
Yes there is. The Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550034 is one option that could potentially be used in a Ford F-150 or F-250. This hitch is made to work with the industry standard fifth wheel rails, so provided both trucks have standard fifth wheel rails in the bed, the hitch will be transferrable.
That said, if both trucks do have the industry standard fifth wheel rails in the bed, pretty much any sliding 5th wheel hitch would be transferrable. As long as the hitch is... view full answer...
To use the Curt A30 5th Wheel Hitch item # C66HR on a 1999 Ford F-550, you're going to need to use the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit item # C16200. There are no custom fit kits for the cab and chassis models so these will require some drilling to get set up.
Don't forget your lube plate. The Lube Plate for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 10" Diameter item # 16721 will prevent scratches on your fifth-wheel's skid plate and ease trailer hookup.
I saw you were... view full answer...
Hey Debra, I've heard the marriage experts say that trusting your husband is important but that's not REALLY our area of expertise...so if you check out the attached picture you can see all of the grease info for the Reese fifth wheel hitch part # RP30921. I also attached a link to the install instructions for this hitch which also cover this and other aspects of the hitch. view full answer...
Hey Miguel, this is a great question but I think your first though of going with the B and W setup is the best. So for that you'd want the part # BWRVK3500 for the fifth wheel hitch and then for the rail kit that also doubles as a gooseneck hitch you'd want the part # BW83FR which also doubles as a gooseneck hitch.
This gives you exactly what you are looking for. Ability to tow a fifth wheel hitch, a gooseneck hitch, and then when not needed a totally clean truck bed. The Companion hitches... view full answer...
That completely depends on what style of Companion hitch you have. If your Companion hitch was made for the 2020-2024 GMC/Chevy puck system such as the # BWRVK3710, you can easily transfer it to the new Chevy 3500, provided the truck has the OEM fifth wheel puck system (not just the gooseneck).
If your companion hitch was made to be used with the B&W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch, like part # BWRVK3500-5W, it can only be used with the B&W Turnoverball hitch and it will not work with the... view full answer...
Yes, the Curt Spyder Goooseneck/Fifth Wheel Adapter part # 16085 does come with the needed pins to secure it to your fifth wheel rails. view full answer...
Hey Alan, for your 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 5-3/4 foot bed that is carbon the Demco Hijacker part # DM8550040 is your best option as it is only sliding hitch that can move back far enough to allow your towing setup to make tight turns.
The custom rail kit you'd need for your truck for this hitch would be the Demco part # DM8552034-71 and you'd be set. view full answer...
The PowerRide head part # C56WR can't be used with the current Curt leg kit you have now unfortunately so if you wanted a PowerRide that fits the GM rail kit the solution you'd need is the complete hitch part # C36WR. view full answer...
Hey Travis, so we have several different options for fifth wheel bracket options but since we can't recommend mixing brands between the bracket and rail kits I would need to know what brand rails you have to recommend a bracket kit.
If you had the very common Reese rails you'd need the bracket kit part # RP30439. view full answer...
Hey Damon, thanks for the pictures of your camper. Based on that you would definitely need a slider hitch as the nose of your camper is as wide as they come and also your pin box isn't' extended. But no worries on that as that's what slider hitches were designed to work with so for the bed of your 2024 GMC 3500 Sierra short bed the Companion you'd want is the slider version part # BWRVK3775. view full answer...
Hey Scott, to place the rear rail of the Demco fifth wheel rail kit part # DM39FR in the bed of your 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed you will measure 32-1/8 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed to the center of the rear rail. Once that's set you'd want to use the hitch # DM8550034 to place the front rail by setting it in the rear rail. This ensures the rails are placed perfectly for the hitch, but it will be right at 22 inches in front of the rear rail. view full answer...
For the Curt Turning Point Pin Box you'll need the 5th Airborne Custom Wedge for Select Series Fifth Wheels item # SWW-03. This works great with Reese 5th Wheel Hitches like Item # RP30047. view full answer...
There are only 2 ways I would tow a 2015 Grand Design Reflection 27RL behind your 2023 Ford F-150. Both ways are going to require having 5th Wheel Rails # DM8552028-71. Then I would either use the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550040 which is my preference since it can easily be used with different 5th wheels. Or you could use a Fixed 5TH Wheel # C16115 but would then need to have a pivoting pin box like the Reese Sidewinder # RP34FR and a Wedge # RP64FR.
If you do not... view full answer...
Hey Earl, thanks for reaching out!
There are two main competitors for the top spot of automatic 5th wheel hitches; the Demco Hijacker and the PullRite SuperGlide. While we only carry the Hijacker, I've looked into the SuperGlide enough that I can point out the main differences and why the Hijacker edges past the SuperGlide.
Both options feature 14" of sliding clearance and can be installed in either OEM puck systems or industry standard rails (ISR), but there are the main differences... view full answer...
Hey William, for your 2023 Ford F-150 we have the Curt rail kit part # C38ZV available as a confirmed fit that would work great. It's a custom install kit so install time and drilling would be minimized and it's exact rails your Curt hitch was designed to fit. view full answer...
Yes, you can use the sliding Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R20 Slider # C16541 or S20 Slider # C55DR with the Reese Revolution kingpin so long as you lock out the hitch so it does not slide.
In that case it will work just the same as any other non-sliding 5th wheel hitch.
Also, I did want to mention that if you need base rails for your 2006 Ford F-350 the correct part (that is also compatible with the A20) is the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Ford # C16448-204. view full answer...
Hey Don, yes you can swap the leg kit of your current Curt Q25 to fit the OEM rails of your new 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500. For that all you would need is the part # CU53FR. view full answer...
