Hi Melissa,
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13391 is just the hitch and would not come with the necessary wiring for towing a trailer. For your 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio you would need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118777. This wire harness plugs inline with your factory tail light wiring to transfer your light signals to the tail lights on the trailer. view full answer...
Hey David,
The Optronics Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light w/ Reflector # MC32RB comes with a 194 bulb # A194B. The mounting holes are 3" apart from center to center, but with this being a surface mount you can just use on hole and fill in the other hole with some sealant and shoot the screw in making a new hole. view full answer...
Hello Marcus. As far as the Malone EcoLight Trailer, there really is no way to upgrade the hubs beyond the standard grease hubs that it comes with.
It may be possible to use slightly larger tires and wheels, but that will completely depend on the amount of clearance between the tire and the fender. Ideally you want 3" between the tire and the fender, and at least 1" between the inside of the tire and the frame of the trailer.
The 4.80/4.00-8 tires that come with the EcoLight are 4.7"... view full answer...
Hey Michael, so the LED Trailer Taillight part # STL73RB does not come with the reflector ring you asked about but you can pretty easily add it with the part # A211RXB. view full answer...
Hey Tommie,
Brake controllers are a pretty universal fit so we'll still have what you need even though your vehicle isn't in our Fitguide. With a Ford E-350 cab and chassis you should be able to use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C55344 to get a 4-way connector for your lights. This wire harness plugs inline with the factory tail light wiring.
From there you'll need to install the # ETBC7 to get a 7-way socket on the back of your motorhome.... view full answer...
Jason, that's going to be a 15 amp fuse and it is included with the Tekonsha Powered Tail Light Converter w/ 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector and Install Kit # 119147KIT. view full answer...
You really should use a weight distribution hitch like the Equal-i-zer # EQ37060ET when towing a travel trailer. You should touch base with the person or company you are renting the trailer from as they will typically have these already setup for the trailer and is often included with the rental. If they are not offering it with the rental you should check with other rental companies near you as they are the best especially for new campers. The weight distribution hitch helps to more evenly... view full answer...
Due to having the cutaway chassis on your 2011 Chevrolet Express 3500 you are going to want to look at either the Draw-Tite Receiver # 41990-07 with 7" mounting brackets or the # 41990-16 with 16" tall mounting brackets. The height of the brackets will depend on the height of your frame from where you would like the receiver to sit. These can be bolted on but welding is the preferred method.
You will want to check your wiring to see if it included the round connector for a 7-Way # 30955... view full answer...
Hey Jacob,
I have a replacement for you that could work but we unfortunately don't have an actuator that has a built in swing-away adapter. If you go with the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator w Electric Lockout # DX56FR you can weld on a fold-away coupler hinge, like # FHDPW330300 and attach it to your trailer tongue. This comes with an electric lockout included. It looks like you have a 7-way already on the trailer so you should just have to run one of the solenoid wires to the reverse... view full answer...
