The BOLT Spare Tire Lock # BLT66FR is the Bolt part number 7032301. This will fit onto a 1/2"-20 threaded stud. I have included images for the keys which work with this lock as well as the wheel hole requirement needed to fit inside the wheel. The problem may be your 2024 Willy's Edition has some wheels which may not be compatible with the lock. view full answer...
Hi Dan,
What you can do is use a swing away extender and then add a hitch-mounted spare tire carrier. For that I recommend going with the Saris Swing Away Hitch Extender # SAR36VR with the etrailer Spare Tire Mount for Hitch # e98ZR.
The Saris extender has a 250 lb capacity and the spare tire mount is just 17 lbs so you can still carry a heavy spare for your van. view full answer...
Great question, David!
The Yakima StageTwo Bike Rack # Y47VR requires at least 8-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthest part of the spare tire in order for it to fit properly. The center of the hitch pin hole on the Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195125 is about 5-5/8" behind the face of the mounting plate for your spare tire which means your tire can't sit more than 2-7/8" out from the mounting plate in order for you to be able to use the StageTwo.
For an alternative... view full answer...
That is a good question, James. Having a different load rating or PSI rating for your spare tire is fine as long as you don't have too far to go, and you are using it for a spare only. Ideally, the spare would be identical to the rest of the tires as far as PSI and load rating. Using different tires long term can cause uneven tire wear or sway issues and it can decrease ride quality. Not only should the spare be the same size, capacity, load range, and have the same psi rating but it should... view full answer...
Hey Kurt,
The tech note on the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e72AR is talking about wheel diameter and not overall diameter of the wheel and tire. Since you have 17" wheels you shouldn't have an issue with a full-size spare. view full answer...
The height of the etrailer Spare Tire Carrier # e98ZR is 25", and the angle of the mounting plate is 65 degrees to the mast, but bends 10 degrees, and then the plate mounts to the mast at 15 degrees.
I've attached the dimensional drawing of the plate, as well as the height of the mast for you to check out. view full answer...
Hey Jeff,
To be able to haul a spare tire and still be able to fold up your Blue Ox tow bar into the stowed position you'll need the Roadmaster Spare Tire Mount # RM-195125. The spare tire carrier has a release pin to pivot the tire down for easier loading/unloading that you'll need to utilize in order to be able to fold your tow bar up into the stowed position. The tire mount can hold all wheels with a lug nut circle up to 7". Use of this spare tire carrier reduces the tongue weight... view full answer...
The Apogee Optimax Folding Utility Trailer will use a bias ply tire. Specifically it is a 5.30-12 tire with a load range C.
For a spare tire I recommend the Kenda 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel # AM30850. You can mount this to the front of the trailer with the CE Smith Spare Tire Carrier for Trailers # CE22007Z-11050-2. There the tire will not interfere with the folding ability of the Apogee trailer. view full answer...
We want to keep trailer tires - even spares - the same size, so because you have 205/75/R15 tires now, that's what you should go with. You mentioned 27.1" diameter, which is exactly right for that size tire, and because you said weight is crucial, I'll go ahead and give you the lightest option for a 205/75/R15 tire and wheel with a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern:
- Castle Rock ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" White Mod Wheel # LHACK120
The # LHACK120 weighs 39 lbs, which is the lightest... view full answer...
We have three different Roadmaster Spare Tire Carriers to choose from. None of them have been specifically tested on a Tiffin Midas since this is not a vehicle or trailer specific product. As long as you have a 2" or 2-1/2" receiver on the back of your motorhome you will be able to use the spare tire carrier. You will also want to check to see what wheels are compatible. We have the following:
-Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195125 (Fits 2" Hitch. Fits all wheels with a lug nut circle... view full answer...
You will want to use the same tire size for a spare on your 2024 Coleman Lantern. If the appearance doesn't matter to you then you could use the Karrier ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire with 14" White Wheel # AM32181. After looking at pictures I believe you have a silver mod wheel on there right now. If you want the spare to look the same you could get the Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel # AM20363 and the # TTWTR21514. We do not have a wheel and tire combo in this style. view full answer...
Thanks for the picture! No, I am sorry it's not going to Tina. The wheel tray isn't going to be high enough to clear the top of the spare tire on the Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack item # TH302043. view full answer...
Hey Will, to answer your question, probably not. You are almost definitely going to need a hitch extension in order to put a bike rack on your 2022 Ford Bronco with the spare on the back. We do not have a way to know exactly how far back your spare tire extends so if you were to measure, we could definitely get a bitter idea of what will fit. You will want to measure from the center of your hitch pin hole straight out to the rearmost point of the spare tire. Once we know that measurement,... view full answer...
Yep, you're 100 percent on the money, Al. The 200 lb tongue weight capacity is only for what is put in the receiver and does NOT count the weight of the spare tire and the carrier itself for the Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195125. view full answer...
I recommend the Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # AM10140 and the Aluminum Lynx Trailer Wheel - 12" x 4" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - Silver # LH45FR for Triton Jet Ski trailer. This aluminum wheel will stand up well against corrosion. The tire is the same ST145/R12 Load Range E tire that is on your Trailer.
The CE Smith Offset Spare Trailer Tire Carrier # CE27310G will allow you to mount the spare onto a trailer frame up to 3" wide and 5" tall. view full answer...
The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack # HLY84FR is capable of carrying 2 bikes up to 80lbs per bike. As you have a spare tire on the back of your vehicle you are going to need either an Extender # C45791 or Swing Away Extender # Y02483 to clear the spare tire. The swing away extender is best if you have a rear door which swings open and would like to access it when you are using the bike rack. view full answer...
Hey Paul, so the Hollywood Racks spare bike rack part # HRSR1 that you referenced does fit your 2011 Toyota RAV4 but you would need to take the spare cover off of it. So a better option might be a hitch rack like the Hollywood Racks part # HR200Z with a hitch that fits your vehicle like the etrailer part # e98864 since most likely you want to keep the spare cover on. view full answer...
Hey Dennis, thanks for reaching out!
The Offset Trailer Spare Tire Mount # DL22120 will work for your application just fine. If uses a different mounting bracket style as opposed to U-Bolts but it will work with frames up to 3" wide x 5" tall. view full answer...
Hi Christopher; from what I could find online, the 2023 Coleman Rubicon 1200RK uses a 215/75-14 tire, and for a spare that would work you can use the Provider ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D # TTWTRTM2157514D.
These are the same size but not an exact match, because your Rubicon uses off-road tires. So this will get you out of a pinch if you have a flat, or work just fine as a replacement if you want to switch away from off-road tires. view full answer...
