For your 2022 Volvo XC60 that has flush rails you'll need a roof rack with longer crossbars to fit your two kayaks side by side which for that we have the Thule Wingbar Evo Rack part # TH711420, # TH710601, and # TH186028 which will give you a really quiet and high quality rack with 53 inch long crossbars.

Anything that will adapt from a 1-1/4" hitch to mate with a 2" accessory will also extend the mounting point to some degree. I suggest the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 80303 as this is the shortest option available. This will extend the hitch pin out 6" from current but will allow you to use 2" accessories with your 1-1/4" hitch. I checked with several of our main trunk-mount bike rack makers and did find that Yakima has several confirmed fits for trunk-mount bike carriers that will work on your 2018 Volvo XC60.
