That is correct, Stealth Hitches trailer hitch receivers, like the # SH32VR you were looking at, are only able to tow with the ball mount attachment and would not be compatible with a weight distribution hitch. The only chains that will fit the 315/35R22 tires on your 2024 BMW X7 xDrive40i are the Konig K-Summit Tire Chains # TH02230K77. Make sure to consult your owner's manual to see if you can use tire chains or if there are any restrictions. If your currently have just the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH66VR then you would need to get the # 391CONVD5 in order to tow a trailer. The receiver tube included with the # SH66VR is not for use with ball mounts, only the ball mount shank included in # 391CONVD5 is rated for trailer towing. This also includes the safety chain loops, trailer wiring, and mounting bracket for the wiring. view full answer...
