I have a solution for you. I spoke with my contact at Yakima, and she confirmed that the Yakima Q Towers were discontinued in 2016. They were replaced by the Yakima Baseline towers. The Q-clips that you have will only work with the discontinued towers.
With that being said, there are still roof rack systems available with the newer Baseline towers for your 2015 Ford Taurus with a bare roof. For that roof rack system, I recommend the following parts:

I have a solution for you, but the Curt Multi Fit Class III # C13902 is designed to fit pickup trucks of various makes and models, and is not designed to fit on the frame of the 2002 Ford Taurus.
To install a trailer hitch on your 2002 Ford Taurus you would need to use a hitch like the Curt # C12232 , which is a Class II hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver that is designed to fit the frame on your 2002 Taurus. Generally, you don't need additional lighting when using a tow dolly that already has lights. However, it's not a bad idea to check with the local laws in the states you'll be traveling in and in Canada.
Some people like to add additional lights just to make it easier to see the vehicle that's on the dolly.
