I recommend checking that the patriot 2 is actually getting enough power. It needs at least 13.1 volts to operate proper. I recommend getting an outlet kit so you can wire it directly to the battery so you know its drawing the right power.

I spoke with Roadmaster about this, and they said that the Roadmaster EvenBrake # RM-9410 is looking for voltage from both the EvenBrake & the ICX box, the programming, the brake away sway, & the dinghy vehicles brake switch.
If it is missing any of the checks, then it'll fail the test.

You, my friend, need the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25. This connects the battery on your 2017 Chevy Spark to the umbilical at the front of your vehicle so you'll pull 12V power from your motorhome to keep the battery charged.
