While your 2015 Chevrolet Sonic LTZ with an automatic transmission can be flat towed I would recommend using a Dolly # DM9713045 since you are required to stop and run the engine when towing(see owners manual) for extended periods of times. This dolly also fold up which is great when you do not have a lot of storage area.

It is possible that you would be able to open the sunroof on your 2014 Chevy Sonic hatchback with a roof rack such as # RR32QR installed. But the only way to know for sure is to install the rack and see if opening the sun roof causes any interference.
