I may have a solution for you, but the Rhino Rack # RRRBC050 does not have a way to carry tires wider than 2.7". If you' need a roof top carrier for a wider tire bike then I recommend using the Yakima Highroad # Y02114 since it can handle tires up to 4" wide. Roof top bike carriers are typically designed for smaller sized bike tires, but the Highroad does allow for carrying some wider size tires.
