Height of Curt Trailer Hitch C11349 For 2016 Nissan Sentra
Question:
Greetings, I have a 2016 Nissan Sentra FE and with regard to the Curt Class 1 Trailer Hitch do you know an estimate for the receiver height? Im estimating that the trailer Im considering has a coupler height of 16 inches and hitching this up level - and safe - is the goal. I hope to get a rough estimate of the rise or needed. Thanks!

Definitely can help you out here and the height from the ground to the top of the receiver on your 2016 Nissan Sentra will be approximately 10 inches for the Curt hitch you asked about, which is the following part number:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11349
The actual height should be very close to that once you install the hitch, but could vary based on a number of factors, like tire pressure or size, etc. So I do recommend installing the hitch first and measuring it and the coupler height of your trailer before going with a ball mount.
The other thing I wanted to mention, since you plan on doing some light towing, is that you will also need a trailer wiring harness. The best option that fits your '16 Sentra is from Tekonsha:
- T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118582
The reason this is the best for your Sentra is because we have found over time that the Tekonsha T-One harnesses are easily the most reliable option compared to harnesses such as the Curt # C56205.
