The easiest way to find the correct bearings for a trailer without pulling the hub is by determining the axle capacity, there's usually a tag on the actual axle with this info. I attached a picture that shows where the 17-1/2 inch measurement needs to be taken from for one of our landing gear kits to fit directly. You might double check that you measured from the right place.
Otherwise you could just have the brackets removed from your trailer by a qualified welder and then install the brackets that come with the Bulldog Tandem Landing Gear Set # BD500162.
